Daffodils.....it's Spring- Narcissen....het is lente!

Hello there on this sunny day,


It seems a bit like Summer here today, the sun is shining brightly and it is really warm! We are celebrating the Queens birthday and everywhere people and especially children are celebrating and having fun! I had my share of it this morning........the Fair.......
Today some daffodil cards made with the Cover a card Daffodil from Impression Obsession and a single Daffodil stamp also from IO designed by Aislin Adams, she draws beautiful flower images. The first one I've stamped on Basic Grey paper and coloured the main image with Derwent pencils. The Cover a card background has been embossed with Wow Black mixed with some Wow Sparkle brass. you can see that on the circle image above.


With this card I am also joining the Pan Pastel challenge 'Spring time'. Still not with use of Pan Pastels but maybe soon I can show you some......

Hallo allemaal op deze zonnige dag,

Het lijkt wel zomer vandaag, de zon schijnt helder en het is gewoon warm! We vieren koninginnedag en overal zijn er mensen en vooral kinderen die dit vieren en plezier hebben! Ik heb mijn deel al gehad deze ochtend........de kermis......
Vandaag wat narcissen kaarten gemaakt met de  Cover a card achtergrond Narcissen van Impression Obsession en een enkele narcissenstempel ook van IO ontworpen door Aislin Adams, zij tekent prachtige bloem afbeeldingen. De eerste heb ik gestempeld op geel Basic Grey papier en gekleurd met Derwent potloden. De Cover a card achtergrond is geembosst met Wow zwart gemixt met Wow sparkle brass. je kunt dat goed zien op de afbeelding hierboven.

Met deze kaart doe ik mee met de Pan Pastel challenge 'Lente tijd'. Nog steeds niet met gebruik van Pan Pastels maar misschien kan ik die binnenkort laten zien.....
Dit is de kaart.......

And here some other cards with just simple stamping and embossing..........the first one is embossed with Wow Pearl gold sparkle and the daffodil stamped using Tombo markers to ink up the stamp. Then adding some water to create the aquarel effect. The 2nd one is embossed with Wow silver holographic after inking my stamp with versamark and Brilliance Lime.


En hier wat andere kaarten met een simpele stempeltechniek en embossing.......de eerste is geembosst met Wow pearl goud sparkle en de narcis is gestempeld door de stempel in te kleuren met Tombo markers. Dan wat water om het aquarel effect te maken. De tweede is geembosst met Wow silver holographic nadat de stempel is beiinkt met versamark en Brilliance lime.

and the last one......here I've used another daffodil stamp and a key also from IO which I have coloured with Tombo markers. Here I've used Wow olive emboss. powder. The sentiment is also IO.


en de laatste.....hier heb ik nog een andere narcis en sleutel van IO gebruikt die ik  ingekleurd heb met de Tombo markers. Hier heb ik Wow olive emboss. poeder gebruikt. Ook de tekst is van IO.

Today a card which is a combination of an old Magenta stamp( little flower) and a quote and cover a card background (reverse Damask) from Impression Obsession. I think the colours matches the challenge of FIY (for your inspiration) So I will join the challenge this time. It's a great inspirational blog  always showing a beautiful photo for your inspiration. I am always inspired by this blog but most of the time seems to can't find the time to join....and to create something for it. But these cards were already made......so this time I can join.......Below the picture of this challenge:

Vandaag twee kaarten, de eerste met een combinatie van een oude Magenta stempel( kleine bloem) en een tekst en grote achtergrond van Impression Obsession. Ik denk dat de kleuren mooi matchen met de challenge van FIY(for your inspiration) Dus deze keer doe ik eens mee. Het is een geweldig inspirerend blog met alrijd prachtige foto's ter inspiratie. Ik ben er in ieder geval altijd door geinspireerd maar meestal heb ik niet de tijd om iets speciaal er voor te maken. Dus mooi meegenomen dat ik toevallig wat kaarten had die er bij pasten. Hieronder zie je de foto van deze challenge.....

Flower Power Challenge Impression Obsession.......

Today my contribution to the 'Flower Power'Challenge of Impression Obsession! a lovely and easy theme because there are lots of beautiful flower stamps at IO! These Dogwood stamps come in several variations, just take a look at the IO website........ I've stamped the Dogwood on Basic Grey paper and coloured with my Derwent pencils.  Only added some pearl pen accents in the center of the flower.

Vandaag mijn bijdrage aan de 'Flower power challenge van Impression Obsession! Een leuk en gemakkelijk thema omdat er zoveel mooie bloem stempels te vinden zijn bij IO! Deze kornoelje stempels zijn er in verschillende variaties, neem eens een kijkje op de website........Ik heb de kornoelje gestempeld op Basic Grey papier en gekleurd met mijn Derwent potloden. Alleen nog wat parel pen accenten in het hart van de bloem.

And the 2nd example with this beautiful flower......there are several lovely designs from a talented designer called Aislin Adams. At the 2nd one I've added a piece of the Funky Floral background of IO and also stamped the Dogwood on the white card. The main image is stamped on Basic Grey and coloured with the Derwent pencils.

En het 2e voorbeeld met deze mooie bloem........er zijn verschillende mooie ontwerpen van de getalenteerde ontwerpster Aislin Adams. Bij de tweede heb ik ook een stukje van de cover a card Funky Floral van IO gebruikt en ook de kornoelje gestempeld op de witte kaart achtergrond. De hoofd afbeelding is weer gestempeld op Basic Grey en gekleurd met potloden.

Deze stempels zijn in Nederland alleen te koop bij de Posthumuswinkel te Amsterdam!

New Stamps at Chocolate Baroque!! Nieuwe stempels bij Chocolate Baroque!!

You have already seen them at the Chocolate Baroque design team blog but here again they are .......the two new fabulous stamp sheets 'Haberdashery' and 'Lace Fragments'! They are great! Also beautiful to combine these two, can you already see the possibilities??


With this card I am joining the 'Simon says stamp and show your favourite word' challenge


Well here is some artwork I've made using them and on the DT blog there will be more to see made by my talented teamies!

I've made a bit of a scrap card with these stamps and I used Brilliance Chocolate brown and black. I also did some lace stamping on the Tim Holtz flower. I've combined the Lace fragments with the Elegant Iris sheet and attached to some Nestabilities. I think it really became a 'Chocolate' creation! But not eatable........

Misschien heb je ze al gezien op het Chocolate Baroque DT team blog maar hier zijn ze nog een keer.........de twee nieuwe  stempelsheets 'Haberdashery' en 'Lace Fragments'! Ze zijn weer prachtig! Ook mooi om ze te combineren deze twee, zie je de mogelijkheden al?

Ik heb een scrapkaart gemaakt en gestempeld met Brilliance Chocolade bruin en zwart. Ik heb ook op het kantpatroon op de Tim Holtz bloem gestempeld. Ik heb deze sheet gecombineerd met de 'Elegant Iris sheet' en bevestigd op wat Nestabilities. Het is een echte'Chocolade' creatie geworden! Maar niet om op te eten.......

CCC 15- New Crealies Challenge- Diamond Fold Card and Creative Borders

the new 'Lace Fragments' sheet from Chocolate Baroque

This week the new Crealies Challenge CCC no.15- create something with a 'Diamond Fold' card and the theme of the month is still the 'Creative Borders'. There was still a lot of left overs from my preparations for the stamping event in Zeist and so I used this lovely image of the snowdrop. It's on the 'Elegant Springflowers' sheet from Chocolate Baroque. And the lace border and lace structure on the flowers and leaves are from a new and 'very soon' released sheet from Chocolate Baroque.It's called Lace Fragments. Now on the CB website!
I created a diamond fold card which looks maybe difficult but which is very easy to make. I used different shades of blue and green. The Crealies dies I've used are: Creative borders no. 15 , Creative flowers no.20, Creative Petals no.1, Creative shapes no.10, Creative Shapes no.18. And around the oval image I've also used the Doily elements no.2. The text stamp is also from Crealies and it says....Spring greetings.

Deze week een nieuwe challenge, CCC15- maak een Diamond fold kaart en het thema van deze maand zijn de mooie creative borders. Er was nog het nodige over van mijn voorbereidingen voor het stempel event in Zeist en ik heb dit lieflijke sneeuwklokje gebruikt . Je kunt het vinden op het mooie stempelsheet 'Elegant Springflowers'van Chocolate Baroque. De kanten border en de kanten patronen op de bloemen en bladeren zijn van een nieuw en 'binnenkort' uitgekomen stempelsheet van Chocolate Baroque. Het heet 'Lace Fragments'. Op het stempel event had de Posthumuswinkel de primeur op dit nieuwe sheet en ik kan zeggen dat het ook weer prachtig is! Dus het is al te koop bij de Posthumuswinkel in Amsterdam.
Ik heb een diamant vouw kaart gemaakt die misschien moeilijk lijkt maar heel simpel te maken is.Ik heb verschillende tinten blauw en groen gebruikt.
De Crealies mallen die ik gebruikt heb zijn: Creative borders no. 15 , Creative flowers no.20, Creative Petals no.1, Creative shapes no.10, Creative Shapes no.18. En om het ovaal heb ik de  Doily elements no.2.gebruikt. De tekst stempels is natuurlijk ook een Crealiesje.

Fantastic Florals and Honeysuckle Fragrance...Chocolate Baroque

Today two cards I've made with the Fantastic Florals sheet and the Honeysuckle Fragrance. Both gorgeous flower sheets just what we are used of from Chocolate Baroque! I've stamped this card very simple just using three colors Brilliance ink, adding some clear pearls and layering on a different color card stock. It's such a beautiful image that you don't need much more than ink and a stamp.

Vandaag 2 kaarten die ik gemaakt heb met de Fantastic Florals en de Honeysuckle Fragrance. Beide prachtige bloemen sheets, precies wat we gewend zijn van Chocolate Baroque! Ik heb de kaart simpel gestempeld met alleen 3 kleuren Brilliance inkt, wat transparante parels en gemat op een andere kleur card stock. Het is z'on mooie afbeelding dat je niet meer nodig hebt dan alleen inkt en de stempel. Beide stempelsheets kun je vinden bij de Posthumus winkel in Amsterdam. Neem eens een kijkje op de vernieuwde website!

The 2nd card is stamped on Basic Grey paper which already have a mix of colours and structures.....it is great paper for coloring with the Derwents soft color pencils. Just stamped the Honeysuckle with brown and around the oval I've used the smaller flower. Used a lot of white pencil and then colored it with the other pencils.

De tweede kaart is gestempeld op Basic Grey papier wat al een mix aan kleur en structuur heeft....het is heel fijn papier om te kleuren met de Derwent soft color potloden. Ik heb de  grote bloem gestempeld met bruin  en om het ovaal de kleinere bloem.

Veel wit potlood gebruikt en daarna de andere potloden er over heen.

Today some other Easter creations with the new Chocolate Baroque Easter and Spring stamps. I felt like creating cards with a lot of purple and yellow......on the first card a combination of the beautiful window from the Texture Fragments sheet, the elegant Crocus and the Easter Traditions sheet. the background is created with Distress inks. And I 've used water-based markers for the flower and the cross.It's also a card with a 'message' if you get the picture....

Vandaag wat andere paas kaarten met de nieuwe Chocolate Baroque Paas en voorjaars stempels. Ik had de behoefte om met veel paars en geel te spelen.....op de eerste kaart een combinatie van de Texture Fragments, de  elegant Crocus  en  Easter Traditions  sheet. De achtergrond is gemaakt met Distress inkt. En ik heb aquarelstiften gebruikt om in te kleuren.Het is ook ee kaart met een boodschap als je het plaatje begrijpt met de tekst erbij.


At the 2nd card I've used the Baroque Eggs sheet and a Cuttlebug embossing folder on the background. The background of the image has been made with oil pastel crayons. The main image is coloured with Derwent soft colours. Also used some dies from Memory Box and Cheery Lynn. They are so beautiful detailed. 

Voor de tweede kaart heb het 'baroque Eggs' sheet gebruikt en een Cuttlebug embossingmal voor de achtergrond. de achtergrond van de afbeelding is gemaakt met oliepastel krijtjes.De afbeelding zelf weer gekleurd met de Derwents soft colour.Ook heb ik hier wat mallen gebruikt van Memorybox en Cheery Lynn. Die zijn erg mooi gedetaileerd.


The 3d card has been made using the Easter Traditions sheet with those beautiful crosses. Again combined with the textured fragments sheet. Here I've been playing with the distress stains on very smooth paper and used lots of shimmer. You can see that better at the close-up pic.

 De 3e kaart is gemaakt met de Easter Traditions sheet met al die mooie kruizen. Weer gecombineerd met het raam van de Texture fragments. Hier heb ik gespeeld met de Distress Stains op glad papier en veel glimmers....Je kunt dat beter zien op de close-up.

Well for so far the Easter cards, maybe later some 'Spring'creations.........


Goed, tot zover de Paas kaarten, misschien later nog wat 'Lente' creaties........

Crealies challenge CCC 12..Spring is in the air.....join us

This week we have the Crealies CCC no.12 and the theme is 'Spring is in the air'. And indeed it is........the sun is shining and birds are singing......and the flowers blooming. So just create a 'spring' card and use some Crealies tools. For more info look at the Crealies blog.


I've used a stamp from Chocolate Baroque from the new 'Elegant Spring flowers' sheet. It's an image of a Primula flower. I've used the Inshape template no.4 and the smallest Petal no. 3 which I've stamped with the Non Stop stamps. You can see some craquele and spot effects on the petals and on the card too. Also used the little tulips from the Creative shapes no.18.
I have embossed the edges of the inshape of the primula with silver EP. For the centres of the flowers I've used Creative shape no.9 en 10 adding some perl pen effects.

Deze week de Crealies CCC no.12 en het thema is 'Lente kriebels'. En inderdaad.....de zon schijnt, de vogels zingen en de bloemen bloeien. Dus maak een mooie lentekaart en gebruik daarbij Crealies materialen. Voor verder info kijk op het Crealies blog.

Ik heb een Chocolate Baroque stempel gebruikt van het nieuwe  'Elegant Spring flowers'  sheet. Het is een afbeelding van een Primula. Ik heb de Inshape mal no.4  gebruikt en het kleinste blad van de Petal no. 3. Deze heb ik ook bestempeld met de  Non Stop stamps. Je kunt het craquele en  spikkel effect zien op de bloemblaadjes en ook op de kaart heb ik het gebruikt. Ook heb ik de kleine tulpjes gebruikt van  Creative shapes no.18.
Ik heb de randen van de inshape vorm met de Primula geembosst met zilver EP. Voor de hartjes van de bloemen heb ik Creative shapes no.9 en 10 gebruikt en nog wat perle pen effecten.

Deze stempels zijn ook een perfecte combinatie met de nieuwe NON STOP STAMPS van Crealies, Op de beurs al te koop!

Hier zijn wat creaties die met de stempels gemaakt heb! De eerste is een waterlelie......altijd al een mooie waterlelie als stempel willen hebben en er zijn er niet veel......Ik heb ook een waterlelie gemaakt met de snijmallen van Crealies en zal die later laten zien met een andere creatie! Op de achtergrond heb ik een van de Non Stop Stamps gebruikt, een craquele effect stempel. Je kunt er een hele achtergrond mee maken of gedeeltelijk zoals ik hier heb gedaan. Ook op Anita's blog kun je met deze stempels al wat zien.

Here are some creations I have made with the new stamps! The first one is a waterlily......always wanted to have a stamp of a waterlily and there are not many.....I've also created a waterlily with the dies of Crealies and will add that later with another creation! On the background I've used one of the Non Stop stamps, a craquele effect stamp. Also used the Crealies border no.10 and Inshape template no.7.

En de volgende....... met een 'danseres'. Ik heb deze gemaakt op een ondergrond van oliepastel krijt en de non stop swirl zie je hier op de achtergrond. Op de smalle strook zie je de non stop craquele stempel weer die drie keer met steeds een andere kleur inkt is gestempeld. De afbeelding is ingekleurd met kleurpotloden.

And the next one...with a dancer..........I've made this one on a background of oilpastel crayons and you can see one of the non stop stamps, a little swirl. On the separate band I've stamped 3 times with the non stop craquele stamp in different colours.
                                                          

En de derde kaart is gemaakt met de stempel van het vrouwen gezicht met de veren, bladeren en bloemen. Hierin zijn ook vormen verwerkt die je terug vindt in de stanzen van Crealies daarom dus ook een leuke combinatie hiermee. Op de groene achtergrond zie je de non stop 'bubble' stempel van Crealies die ik wat geaccentueerd heb met potloden en steentjes.De afbeelding hier weer gekleurd met potloden en wat glimmers toegevoegd. Dit ontwerp heb ik gemaakt daar aanleiding van mijn tekeningen van vroeger waarbij ik altijd gefascineerd werd door gezichten.(Miraculous arts)

The third card has been made using the stamp of the woman's face with feathers, leaves and flowers. You can recognize the shapes here of the dies of Crealies so it's a perfect match. On the background also one of the NON stop stamps adding some accents with pencils and gemstones. Also coloured with pencils and an add of gemstones. I have made this design because of my earlier drawings. I am always fascinated by faces.( Miraculous arts)
