Dear crafters, Today I will show you more creations as promised with my own stamp of the'Phoenix' lady. It's very special when your drawing is transformed into rubber! I made some more designs in a similar style and I hope some day they will also pressed into rubber.The first one I have made using the alcohol inks and using the blender pen of Copic for those little flames. I have coloured the lady with Copics. On the background I have used my favourite paisley's of Impression Obsession.( a cling set- for sale at the Posthumusshop) Also used the liquid pearls for special accents. I have coloured the paisley's with my Derwent pencils. When I have enough money in the pocket I will certainly try out the Prisma colours! I am curious if they are better than Derwent..........?
The 2nd one I have made also with alcohol inks but did not use the copic blender. I only gave some accents in the lady and flames with a white gel pen.
With the 3rd one I have used the sponging technique with colorbox cats-eyes and a circle template. On the background I have used the Flourish 1 from Impression Obsession and gave some accents with a white pencil. The lady has some accents with the Derwent pencils and some prismaglitters. You can see at the use of colours, very 'firy' that it fits my 'Phoenix' lady. That name came up in a period of my life when the story of the Phoenix was very a like to my life. Vandaag laat ik jullie meer creaties zien die ik beloofd had te maken met mijn eigen stempel "de vuurvogel' vrouw. Het is bijzonder om het ontwerp dat je zelf getekend hebt uitgewerkt te zien in rubber. Ik heb naast deze vrouw nog meer ontwerpen in dezelfde stijl gemaakt en ik hoop dat ze een keer omgezet worden in rubber!
De eerste heb ik gemaakt met gebruik van alcohol inkt en daarbij de Copic blender pen voor die kleine vlammetjes. Ik heb de vrouw ook gekleurd met Copics. Op de achtergrond heb ik mijn favouriete paisley's gebruikt van IO.(cling set bij Posthumus te koop)Voor wat extra accenten heb ik Liquid pearls gebruikt. De paisley's zijn weer gekleurd met Derwent kleurpotloden. Wanneer mijn portemonnee het toelaat wil ik heel graag eens de prismacolour potloden uit proberen. Ben benieuwd of ze beter zijn dan Derwent......?
Bij de 2e heb ik ook alcohol inkt gebruikt maar geen blender gebruikt. Ik heb alleen wat accenten gegeven met de witte gelpen en een zwarte fineliner.
Bij de 3e heb ik de sponstechniek gebruikt met de colorbox cats-eyes en een cirkelmal. Op de achtergrond heb ik de flourish 1 van IO gebruikt en geaccentueerd met een wit potlood. De vrouw heeft ook wat accenten met de kleurpotloden en glitters gekregen.
Je kunt zien dat het gebruik van kleur, zeer vurig, past bij mijn 'vuurvogel'vrouw. Die naam kwam omhoog in een periode van mijn leven waarbij het verhaal van de 'feniks' alias vuurvogel precies paste bij de gebeurtenissen in mijn leven. Neergaan in het as en weer geboren worden..........dat is nog steeds een herhalend proces.........
