Autumn again........

Hello peeps,

Last blogpost using the beautiful Autumn stamps and joining the new challenge at IO: Falling Leaves, with the second card.

This time two similar looking cards using different colors. On the first one I have used both cover a card background stamps Winter leaves and cover a card Shaded Leaf. In the card below I have only used Shaded Leaf. 

Than some gold embossing on watercolor paper and watercoloring. Decoupaged the leaves and attached them to te card. Than there was only a matching sentiment needed.......

On this one I also stamped using some gold paint.....it creates a beautiful shimmer.....

Hello there,

Today another of the Autumn cards. I think Autumn is my favorite season.....together with Spring......

This time I have worked on the beautiful canvas paper. It creates such a beautiful texture. 

I stamped the gorgeous cover a card Winter Leaves on the background using Neocolors and water.

Than after drying I stamped the fancy leaf stem using several colors over the background. And than colored it more......it creates a painterly effect.

There are lovely sentiments with the Fall theme at Impression Obsession so I picked one of theme to use on this card.

And I am also joining the challenge ' Falling leaves' with this card.

Autumn inspirations.......with Impression Obsession stamps

Today a blogpost using some lovely Autumnal colors and stamps from Impression Obsession. 

I have used a lot of shimmer which is always difficult to catch on a photo.....

I have used a cover a card background wit maple leaves and a beautiful quote. Than some embossing with the Boho star ornament and maybe you can see I have also used the cover a card ' Boho mandala' stamping with some gold paint.

Lovely chickadee from Impression Obsession

Today my last little birdie .........this time I have used a lovely chickadee stamp.

A very simple card only blending a circle and coloring the bird using color pencils. And the perfect matching quote.....

Lovely bird from Impression Obsession

Hello world,

The moment I saw this stamp I fell in love with it.........such a beautiful little bird!

It was a joy to give it a place in nature created by me........I also used a lovely flower stamp, the Petunia sprig from Impression Obsession and a with going text about nature.Also some water stamping and embossing with the beautiful Boho star ornament. And some black ink spattering......

I am joining the challenge at IO; Things that fly. Ok, they said not only the obvious things that fly as birds and butterflies but I could not resist this one.......

Last Christmas in July cards.......

Hello there,

Today my last two Christmas cards joining the challenge at Impression Obsession' Christmas in July'.

Hope you liked my take on the Christmas subject and if you have questions, feel free to ask them!

The backgrounds of these cards are more busy than my previous bouquet cards but sometimes I am in the mood to fill up white areas!

And of course I have used only IO stamps here......the first one in a pink/purple color combi and the 2nd one I have used.....tadatada.....traditional Christmas red and greens.......I also like the brushed font of the text stamps.

More Christmas in July creations........

Today another blogpost using a Christmas creation in July!! Temperatures still rising here....

Again I will participating in the Impression Obsession challenge ' Christmas in July' 

This time I have used a purple/pink color combination......like to use non-traditional Christmas colors.

I have used the kissing technique on the large solid leaf......used that leaf a lot......And of course I have used all IO stamps, they are great!

Ik doe weer me met de Impression Obsession challenge ' Kerst in Juli' .

Dit keer met een paars/roze kleuren combi. Ik hou van niet-traditionele kerstkleuren.

Ik heb hierbij de kissing techniek gebruikt op het grote solid blad. ik heb dat blad al heel wat keertjes gebruikt en het blijft mooi......

Christmas in July.......challenge Impression Obsession

I noticed the challenge ' Christmas in July' at Impression Obsession and I still have some creations to show........so why not participate?

Here is card nr 1.........creating a Christmas bouquet using lots and lots of gorgeous IO stamps! We have made these kind of cards in a workshop at the Posthumusshop in Amsterdam. They sell lots of these stamps.

Ik zag de challenge ' Christmas in July' bij Impression Obsession en had nog wat creaties liggen die ik niet heb laten zien. Dus waarom niet meedoen..........

Hier is kaart nr. 1.........een kerst bouquet stempelen met allerlei prachtige stempels van Impression Obsession. We hebben deze kaarten gemaakt in een workshop bij de Posthumuswinkel in Amsterdam waar ze natuurlijk heel veel van deze yummie stempels verkopen.

Roses are red my love.......but sometimes they are not.....

I have made some rose cards which I have not shown yet.....maybe it's nice to get some inspiration! Hope you enjoy it.....

I have used several mediums for the backgrounds and coloring of the flowers, working with fluid inks....refills of the Molotov water based markers and also Distress inks with the acrylic bloc technique.

Here are the samples working with the Molotov refills and water misting......fun to do.... some colors of the Molotov refills break up in two colors.........you can see that at the grey color of the sky.......a small edge of a greenish color appears....how nice....you can't plan that.....just let it go and flow!

I have used different brands of stamps, Impression Obsession and Penny Black for the branches.

The first two cards are made on watercolor paper called ' Terschelling smooth' 300grs. from Schut. It's a great paper with a very smooth surface which creates a velvet look.

Ik heb een aantal rozenkaarten die ik nog niet heb laten zien voor jullie........misschien leuk voor wat inspiratie
Hoop dat jullie er van kunnen genieten.....

Ik heb hier diverse mediums gebruikt voor de achtergronden en het kleuren van de bloemen, werken met vloeibare inkten op waterbasis........navullingen van de Molotov aqua markers en ook Distress inkten met de acrylblok techniek.

Hieronder eerst de voorbeelden die met de Molotov refills zijn gemaakt....leuk om te doen en sommige van de kleuren scheiden zich in 2 kleuren waardoor je leuke onverwachte effecten krijgt. Kijk maar naar het stukje grijs in de lucht wat een klein groen randje heeft gekregen....hoe mooi....je kunt dat niet plannen....gewoon laten gaan en vloeien....

Ik heb bij deze kaarten buiten de Impression Obsession rozen ook de takken stempel van Penny Black gebruikt. De eerste twee kaarten zijn gemaakt op het mooie papier van Schut en heet ; Terschelling glad , 300 grs. Werk ik altijd erg graag mee voor de aquarel kaarten.

And on canvas paper using also Molotov refills.......the colors are more vibrant than the Distress inks.....

En op het leuke canvas papier ook weer met de Molotov refills.......de kleuren zijn helderder dan de Distress inkten.....

Now onto the Distress inks.......can you see the difference in color? This one is also made using canvas paper....

Nu over naar de Distress inkten.......kun je het verschil inkleur zien? Ook deze weer op canvas papier.....

And again on canvas paper ....here you can see the last layer of the branches is embossed using gold embossing powder

En weer canvas papier......hier is de laatste laag van de takken geembosst met goud.

here you can see that the lower branches were embossed too.....

And Distress inks with the acrylic bloc technique on watercolor paper of Schut

Distress inkten met de acrylblok techniek op Schut aquarelpapier.

And the last one using the lovely orchids from Impression Obsession. All stamps on this card are from IO.

En de laatste met de mooie orchideeën van Impression Obsession. Al de stempels op deze kaart zijn van IO.
