Fragments and patchwork........

Hi there,

Today my last makes with the Fragments for this batch........will be using them often.....

I've made two cards using the Rustic fragments and the Seasonal Fragments. You can also buy them both as in a multi-by and save some money.....

I combined it with a patchwork pattern using die cuts. As I said before I am in the mood for geometric shapes, I have used the squares and circles before and now the hexagons.

Here is the first one......I've sponged the hexagons with Distress inks, splattered some water. The fragments are embossed with Wow pearl white and some have been given accents with the matching Distress markers. And final some transparent pearl pen accents.

I've combined them with the toadstools of the 'Autumn Poppy' sheet. These fragments are from the Seasonal Fragments.

Vandaag mijn laatste creaties met de Fragment stempels voor deze ronde.......zal ze zeker vaak gebruiken.....

Ik heb 2 kaarten gemaakt met zowel de Rustic fragments als de Seasonal Fragments. Je kunt ze ook in een multi-buy kopen en zo geld besparen.......

Ik heb ze gecombineerd met een patchwork patroon door middel van snijmallen. Zoals ik al eerder zei ben ik deze maand geïnspireerd door geometrische vormen. De vierkanten en cirkels zijn al geweest en nu de hexagons. 

Ook werd ik door deze vorm geïnspireerd via een kaart op het Stampingback blog gemaakt door Ank.

Altijd leuk om te vermelden als je ergens door geïnspireerd bent.....

Hier is de eerste.....ik heb de zeskantjes gesponst met Distress inkt, wat waterspetters en geembosst vooraf met Wow pearl white. Daarna wat accenten met de Distress markers en wat transparante parel accenten.

Ik heb ze gecombineerd met de paddestoelen van de 'Autumn Poppy'  sheet. Deze fragmenten komen van de Seasonal Fragments.

And the 2nd one......more a sea theme style combined with the 'Seaside dreams' sheet.

Made similar to the other one but with a smaller hexagon die cut. These bubble fragments come from the Rustic Fragments.  

En de tweede....meer in de zee sferen...gecombineerd met de 'Seaside dreams' sheet.

Z' on beetje hetzelfde als de andere kaart maar met kleinere zeskantjes. De bubbeltjes komen van de Rustic Fragments.

Also some transparent pearl pen droplets.......

En wat transparante druppels.......

Circles and Seasonal Fragments from Chocolate Baroque

Hi there,

Today my 2nd take with the Seasonal Fragments, I like these stamps so much! And again a clean and fresh card, easy to create.

This time I was inspired by the circle shape. I have cut out several sizes of circles and stamped two of the flower fragments using Memento Black. I have coloured them with alcohol based markers. Than I draw circles with pencil around it and made a pattern with a fineliner(005). I have used the sentiment from the Amazing Birthday sheet.

Vandaag mijn tweede creatie met de Seasonal Fragments, ik vind deze stempels zo heerlijk! En weer een clean en fresh kaart, gemakkelijk te maken. Je hebt alleen een cirkel mal, pons of snijder nodig, een fineliner, zwarte Memento inkt en wat kleurmateriaal.

Ik was geïnspireerd door de cirkel vorm en heb diverse maten gesneden. De bloem fragmenten zijn gestempeld met Memento zwart omdat ik wilde kleuren met Copic markers. Toen heb ik nog wat cirkels eromheen getrokken en geaccentueerd met een zwarte fineliner.(005)De tekst is van de clear set Amazing Birthday

I have added lots of pearl pen accents but it doesn't show on the photo's.......

Ik heb een heleboel accenten gegeven met diverse pearl pennen maar dat zie je niet goed op de foto.....

So, get out your circle die cuts, punches or circle cutter and have some fun with these shapes!

Squares and Seasonal Fragments........from Chocolate Baroque

Today I want to show you my first play with those gorgeous new fragments stamps from Chocolate Baroque. I had a play with the Seasonal fragments and there is also the Rustic Fragments. If I had to buy them I really could not choose so there is also a great multi-buy available. Treat yourself!

I have also combined this pattern with a matching pattern from the Tangled Fragments.

All the fragment/structure stamp sheets from Chocolate Baroque are so versatile and great to play with! For all kind of styles, classic stamping, CAS cards, Mixed media, Art journaling, and much more techniques!

 Vandaag wil ik jullie mijn eerste creatie laten zien met de nieuwe gave fragment stempels van Chocolate Baroque. Ik heb gespeeld met de Seasonal fragments en er is ook nog de Rustic Fragments. Als ik zou moeten kiezen zou ik het echt niet weten dus is er gelukkig ook nog een voordeligere multi-buy beschikbaar. Geef jezelf een cadeautje! Inmiddels zijn er heel veel winkels die de CB stempels te koop hebben.

Ik heb dit patroon ook gecombineerd met een bijpassend patroon van de  Tangled Fragments. Alle fragment/structuur stempels van Chocolate Baroque zijn zo veelzijdig en gaaf om mee te spelen! Ook voor alle stijlen, klassiek, CAS, mixed media, Art Journaling en allerlei technieken!

Here is my card.......

 I went for a simple card with a great contrast. Black& white with a splash of green and turquoise.Coloured with Copic markers.

I've used a Sizzix die cut for the center frame. It cuts out the frame as well as the squares. I have also a larger version of this one, very handy!

At last I've added accents with pearl pens.

Ik ben gegaan voor een simpele kaart met een groot contrast. Zwart en wit met een splash van groen en turquoise. Gekleurd met de Copic markers. Ik heb hier een Sizzix snijmal gebruikt voor het midden frame, snijd zowel het frame als de vierkantjes uit, erg handig. Heb ook nog een grotere versie en dit zijn mallen die ik veel gebruik.

At the last moment I've also created a similar version but with lots of embossed layers......I have embossed the frame also and added some glitter embossing powder here and there for a nice sparkle. I've embossed all the patterns with WOW white pearl and sponged afterwards with Distress inks.

The sentiment is from the Amazing Birthday sheet. In the center of the frame I have triple embossed a square tile and pressed the pattern into it. Finally added some perfect pearl powders.

Op het laatste moment heb ik nog een andere versie gemaakt met dezelfde kleuren maar veel embossing. Ik heb het frame geembosst en wat glitter embossing gebruikt voor een mooie sparkle. Ik heb alle structuren geembosst met WOW white pearl en gesponst met Distress inkten. De tekst isvan de Amazing Birthday sheet. In het midden van het frame heb ik een vierkante tile driemaal geembosst en tenslotte de stempel erin gedrukt. Daarna nog wat perfect pearls erover heen gedaan.
