50 year! and a special present.......my first book!.....50 jaar! een speciaal kado, mijn eerste boek!

Hello dear crafters,

Finally .....a sneakpeak of the cover of my first book! It came on a special day, on the 12th april I became 50 years!
Really proud to show you and maybe if there is enough interest the book will be translated and printed for the UK. So let me know........ In this book different stampingtechniques will be showed and several stamping brands will come by. Like Chocolat Baroque, Hero arts, Impression Obsession. All for sale at the Posthumusshop in Amsterdam. You can see the examples there also. I designed a stamp that will be a present going with the book .Maybe you can order the stamp also. Also designed two others stamps that will be given as a present with 2 other books that will be presented on the event. After the event I will show them to you.

Eindelijk............een glimp van de cover van mijn eerste art specially boekje! En het kwam op een speciale dag, 12 april, de dag waarop ik 50 ben geworden!
Ik ben er trots op om het te kunnen laten zien en als er genoeg interesse is voor het boekje kan het worden vertaald in het Engels en gedrukt worden voor Engeland. In het boekje komen diverse technieken aan bod en diverse stempelmerken worden gebruikt. Zoals Chocolat Baroque, Hero arts en Impression Obsession. Allemaal te koop bij de Posthumuswinkel in Amsterdam. Je kunt daar ook de voorbeelden zien. Ik heb een stempel ontworpen dat bij het boekje als kado wordt gegeven als je het event bezoekt en de bon hebt uit de laatste Art Specially. En nog twee stempels die als kadootje bij de respectievelijke boekjes zitten van Eefke Moes en de herdruk van het 1e boekje van Agitte Huberts. Alle boekjes zijn echte 'must-have's', prachtige lay-outs en foto's zoals iedereen gewend is van de Art Specially en Angela Louwers.
Hierbij wil ik dan ook nog een keer Angela Louwers en Nathalie Breurken bedanken dat zij dit mogelijk hebben gemaakt voor mij. Een droom is uitgekomen!

Time for a Giveaway!

Well, things are settling down a little now that we have launched the Chocolate Baroque online shop which can be found at www.chocolatebaroque.com. Alongside that, we have also launched a community website run by Ning which is a buzzing place with over 500 photographs of artwork featuring our stamps and papers. You can join up at www.chocolatebaroque.ning.com.

In the What's New section of our website, you will find the mini stamps that were revealed here a few weeks ago, as well as three other new sets.

Firstly there are two A5 sized stamp sets that were designed to compliment the Craft Stamper butterfly covermount stamp that was included with the April issue.

As you can see, the DT have already started showing you some of their makes with these sets and I think you can see how versatile they are.

We also have an A4 set that is a personal favourite of mine

The largest stamp in this set needs the large 6x6 inch acrylic block as it's a whopping 5.5 inches square. Looks great on a Stampbord block.

So, I'm doing a little random giveaway - I'm giving away one of each set to three lucky winners, but you have to do something in return to be in with a chance.

In the past I have drawn winners from comments made on this blog, but this time, I am going to be drawing winners at random from comments left on here or on all of the Design Team's individual blogs. Tijd voor een weg geef actie!Zo alles heeft weer een plekje gekregen nu de nieuwe website in de lucht is. De webwinkel kun je vinden op www.chocolatebaroque.com.Daarnaast hebben we een soort club van het Ning netwerk opgericht wat al een drukke plek is geworden met al meer dan 500 foto's van creaties met onze stempels en papier. Je kunt lid worden en meedoen via www.chocolatebaroque.ning.com.

In de 'wat is nieuw' sectie van de website kun je de nieuwe mini stempels vinden die pas uitgekomen zijn. En nog 3 andere nieuwe sets.

Ten eerste zijn er 2 A5 stempelsets die ontworpen zijn om de gratis vlinderstempel aan te vullen die bij de Craft stamper van april zat.

Zoals je kunt zien, heeft het DT team al wat nieuwe creaties laten zien die je met deze sets kunt maken. En je kunt ook zien hoe veelzijdig deze stempels zijn.

We hebben ook een A4 set en die is echt zo gaaf......!Een favouriet van Glenda en zeker ook van mij...........

De grootste stempel in dit setje heeft een 6x6 inch acryl blok nodig. Geweldig op stampbord te verwerken.
Dus, Glenda geeft willekeurig wat weg - ze geeft een van elk van deze sets weg aan 3 gelukkige winnaars, maar je moet wel iets doen in ruil hiervoor.

In het verleden heeft Glenda winnaars getrokken via commentaar op haar blog. Maar deze keer trekt ze willekeurige winnaars die commentaar geven op alle blogs van de DT leden. Ja, Glenda moedigt dan ook aan om hun blogs te bezoeken en reacties achter te laten. Hoe meer reacties des te groter de kans om te winnen! New dies from Crealies.........nieuwe mallen van Crealies

Hello dear crafters, today I want to show you a card using the new dies from Crealies. I have used the beautiful paper of Theresa Collins. Also used the new label die and the stamps fitting into these dies.The new paper rosette maker in combination with the Crealies borders! Very easy to use. There are 2 rosette makers, no 1 you can combine with borders 9/12 en no. 2 with borders 14/19. There are also 2 types of labeldies and one great sheet with clearstamps to go with the dies. The textstamps fits perfectly into the dies and are very easy to use. Also for non-stampers! I also used the Creative flower no.16.

new doodle stamps Chocolate Baroque - nieuwe doodle stempels Chocolate Baroque

Hello dear crafters,

Today I want to show a card using the new doodle stamps of Chocolate Baroque. Further called as CB. There are 2 sheets, one with birds and another with butterrflies. I used the background paper echo's of Italy. I stamped the feather on the backgroundpaper and added some accents with glitter and a white gelpen. The birdcage is a Marianne design die. I stamped the birds with white ink on purple/lilac paper and coloured them with my Derwent pencils. I use a lot of white pencil..... The corner is a Nellie Snellen die . Added some gemstones and a 2 coloured ribbon, voila!

Hallo lieve mensen,

Vandaag wil ik jullie een kaart laten zien die ik gemaakt heb met de nieuwe doodle stempels van Chocolate Baroque, hierna te noemen als CB. Er zijn 2 sheets, een met vogels en een met vlinders. Beide erg mooi. Ik heb hier het mooie achtergrondpapier 'echo's van Italy' gebruikt, ook bij CB te koop. Ik heb de veer op het achtergrondpapier gestempeld en geaccentueerd met glitter en witte gelpen.De vogelkooi is een mal van Marianne Design. De vogels heb ik met witte inkt gestempeld op paars/lila papier en gekleurd met mijn Derwent potloden. Vooral veel met het witte potlood gewerkt. Het hoekje is een malletje van Nellie Snellen. Nog wat glittersteentjes en een tweekleurig lintje, voila! Groetjes Miranda

2 Sweet Pea creations...............2 Sweet Pea creaties

Hello everybody,

Today I want to show 2 Sweet Pea creations.( her in Holland only for sale at the Stempelstudio) I love these great stamps and they are so nice to colour! The first one is an easl card. I have used the beautiful paper of Theresa Collins.( for sale at Doe@Ding) and the stamp is Jinx from Sweet Pea. I only used the black and grey and pink colour. The dies and inshape are from Crealies.

The second card is a twisted easl, very easy to make! You only have to scor the line diagonal instead of straight. I have used the gorgeous paper of Maja Design (Hobbystunter) two sided and really great colours and designs. Also used the dies from Crealies. The stamp is the blue fairy from Sweet Pea( Stempelstudio)

Hallo allemaal,

vandaag laat ik jullie 2 kaarten zien die ik met de Sweet Pea stempels heb gemaakt.( in Nederland alleen te koop bij de Stempelstudio)
De eerste kaart is een easl kaart. Hierbij heb iki het mooie papier gebruikt van Theresa Collins, tweezijdig te gebruiken( Doe@Ding) en de stempel is Jinx van Sweet Pea. De mallen die ik gebruikt heb zijn van Crealies. Ik heb alleen het grijze/zwarte en roze potlood gebruikt.

De tweede kaart is een gedraaide easl kaart. Erg gemakkelijk om te maken. Je rilt de vouw alleen diagonaal in plaats van recht. Hierbij heb ik het prachtige papier van Maja design gebruikt. (Hobbystunter)tweezijdig met prachtige kleuren en patronen. Ook hier heb ik de mallen van Crealies gebruikt. De stempel is de blue fairy van Sweet Pea. Sweet Pea greetings, MIRANDA

Today I want to let you know that on the Art Specially Stamping event there will be the presentation of a book, a stamping book filled with inspirations............ and I can really say

MY BOOK...............
the title: 'Mir'acle Inspirations

subtitle: where stamping makes the world a little more beautiful

I am really very happy and proud that I finally did it and made it. It was so much fun and challenging to do.Not to speak about the stress...LOL.
It was a dream for a long time and now the dream has come true! I don't know yet if it will be for sale in the uk, but asap I will let you know. In this book I used the stamps which are sold at the Posthumusshop in Amsterdam. Attached to the new Art Specially magazine, which is very beautiful and inspiring, are lots of shortage coupons. When you buy the book at the event you get a free stamp with it when you have the shortage coupon. And another dream did come true, I designed that stamp! So, if you want that stamp...............buy the new Art Specially and come to the event on 16 or 17 april in Zeist. I can imagine that for people from the UK the distance is too far. So sorry for that!
On the photo you can see the cover and the tickets for shortage on the event that goes with the magazine. Sorry, not yet the photo of the cover of my book. They are very busy making it!

Vandaag wil ik jullie laten weten dat op het Art Specially Event op 16 en 17 april in Zeist een boek gepresenteerd gaat worden, een stempelboek boordevol inspiraties.......en ik kan werkelijk zeggen

MIJN BOEK............
de titel: 'Mir'acle art inspirations
subtitel: waar stempelen de wereld een beetje mooier maakt

ik ben echt heel blij en trots dat ik het eindelijk heb gedaan. Het was heel leuk en een uitdaging om te doen. De stress laten we maar even achterwege....LOL.
Het was allang een droom en die droom is nu uitgekomen! In het boek heb ik de stempels gebruikt die bij de Posthumuswinkel in Amsterdam te koop zijn. Als je de Art-Specially koopt, die weer erg mooi en inspirerend is dan zitten er kortingsbonnen bij voor de beurs. Op de beurs krijg je dan een gratis stempel bij het boekje.
Nog een droom die uitkwam, ik heb de stempel ontworpen! Dus, als je die stempel wilt, koop de nieuwe Art Specially en kom naar de beurs! Op de foto de cover van het magazine en de bonnen.
Als stempelaar of nog-niet stempelaar moet je gewoon naar deze beurs komen, want er is altijd zoveel moois te zien! Wel sparen van tevoren....

En natuurlijk nog veel meer leuke kortingsbonnen......

Crealies box no.6.........

Hello all you crafting people,

Today I want to show you a box I have made using the great template of Crealies no.6. There is also a smaller version, no.5. And several other great models.

I added some of the Crealies flowers and leaves, for the flowers I have used CF no. 16 and for the leaves CS. no 12 and 09 for the center of the flowers.

It's a great model and you can stuff a lot of goodies or candy's in it. If you like the products of Crealies, visit her website. It's possible to pay with Pay-pal.

Vandaag wil ik jullie een doosje laten zien dat ik heb gemaakt met gebruik van de boxmal no. 6 van Crealies. Er is ook nog een kleinere versie, no. 5.

Ik heb de Crealies flowers no. 16 gebruikt en de Creative shapes no. 12 en 9.

Het is een heel leuk model en je kan er heel wat spulletjes of snoep in stoppen. Als je de produkten leuk vindt van Crealies, breng een bezoek aan haar website.

A couple of months ago Martine asked Annelies if she could design a fence die. Instead of making one, she designed three on one die. You can make a fence as long as you want using the die a couple of times and add the diecut parts of the fence and attach them the way you like. It'still very quiet on my blog...............het is nog steeds erg stil op mijn blog

It's still very quiet on my blog, so just wanted to show you a card I have made a little while ago for the Posthumus shop.
I have used several of the Impression Obsession stamps. The cover a card backgrounds: Script and Spatter(a favourite) and one of the teabagsquares of the cling set. The sentiment is from Hero arts. Really a simple card, I have coloured little parts of the square with Tombo markers and added a gemstone and 2 small pieces of paper.


Het is nog steeds erg stil op mijn blog, dus wilde ik even een kaartje laten zien dat ik een tijdje geleden maakte voor de Posthumus winkel. Ik heb diverse IO stempels gebruikt. De cover a card achtergronden: Script en Spatter(mijn favoriet) een van de teabag vierkantjes van de clingset. De tekst is van Hero arts. Eigenlijk een vrij eenvoudige kaart, het vierkantje heb ik gedeeltelijk ingekleurd met Tombo stiften. Een plaksteentje en 2 smalle strookjes papier completeren het geheel.

I can make an announcement now.....Elusive Images has become 'Chocolate Baroque' the new company of Glenda Waterworth! I am proud and delighted still to be on that wonderful team.

'vintage lady of Elusive'.............vintage dame van Elusive

This is a card from last year's Lady sheets of Elusive. There are several adorable sheets of these ladies. I did not showed it yet so here she is. I stamped her onto craftpaper with brown ink and used a white gelpen for some accents. The chandelier is a cuttlebug emboss.folder I believe.....I used the negative and used it with pearl-ex powder. The frame die is from Marianne Design and the flowers and swirls are Crealies dies. I stamped the chandelier several times onto the card. The chandelier is also on this sheet. Added some pearls and a ribbon, voila!

Dit is een kaart van vorig jaar, het 'lady sheet' van Elusive. Er zijn verschillende van deze lieflijke lady sheets. Ik had haar nog niet laten zien, dus hier is ze. Ik heb haar gestempeld op kraftpapier met bruine inkt en heb een witte gelpen voor accenten gebruikt. De kroonluchter is een emboss.mal van de cuttlebug geloof ik......... Ik heb het negatief gebruikt met pearl ex poeder. Het frame is een mal van Marianne design en de bloemen en swirls zijn van Crealies. Ik heb ook nog een kroonluchter hier en daar gestempeld die ook op dit stempelsheet zit. Nog wat parels en een lint en voila!

just an oldie again.................nog een oudje weer..........

Hello there, here is a card with the left-overs of my Halloween cards. This stamp is from the 'Fancy Mandela' set. I used some perfect pearls for the ivy's. Embossed with silver and coloured it with my Tombo markers. Added some glasspearls and Done! I publiced this card before on my old blog, so not every body has seen this before. This stampsheet is also for sale at the Posthumusshop in Amsterdam.

Hallo allemaal, hier nog een kaart met de restjes van mijn Halloweenkaarten. Deze stempel is van de 'fancy mandela'set.Ik heb perfect pearls gebruikt voor de klimop. Geembost met zilver en ingekleurd met Tombo's. Nog wat glasdruppels en klaar is ie! Ik heb deze kaart al eerder gepubliceerd op mijn oude blog, dus niet iedereen heeft 'm nog gezien.
Deze stempelsheet is ook te koop bij Posthumus in Amsterdam.

Wow, that was great to hear! Thanks for the reaction on my blog, so I noticed my prize a little bit earlier. I really love those images from Sweet Pea and I have already some of their stamps. Till now I am just collecting them but soon I will show you some of the results! They are for sale here at the Stempelstudio of Karin de Graaf.

Dubbele Blog candy

Finally I managed to came up with a creation with the newest die of Crealies. This new die is now for sale at Crealies. To celebrate this a double blogcandy have been realised. On request by Nicole Annelies did design a die of flags. On both blogs you have the chance to win.......1 die! What you have to do: become a follower, leave a message, put the logo's on your blog if you have one. Let's go for it!

Eindelijk is het me gelukt om even wat te maken met de nieuwe vlaggetjes stans van Crealies!
De nieuwste Creatieve Shape is inmiddels te verkrijgen bij Crealies.
Om dit te vieren is er een dubbele Blog Candy van gemaakt .
Op verzoek van Nicole heeft Annelies een stans met vlaggetjes ontworpen.

Op allebei de blogs kan je dus kans maken om 1 stans te winnen.
Wat moet je daarvoor doen ,wordt volger als je dat nog niet bent, laat een reactie achter, zet de logo's op je blog (als je een blog hebt).

I used also In Shape die no.4, Creative border die no. 16 and creative flower no. 9. Also some swirls from the creative shape no.13. The stamp is from Here arts.

Ik heb ook gebruikt: In Shape mal no.4, Creative border no. 16 en de creative flower no. 9. Ook nog de swirls van CS no. 13. De stempel is een van de nieuwe serie van Hero arts.

I simply love this lilac colour...........embossed with silver and coloured with aquarelmarkers

Notice the beautiful backgroundpaper, it has the same image as the stamp

Here two cards using a Kanban stampsheet(Poinsettia) and also the same papers and materials as in the previous post. These stamps are available at Creafine.
