Vandaag laat ik jullie mijn eerste creatie zien met een van de nieuwe Creative flowers van Crealies. Ik heb hier CF no. 19 gebruikt.
Heb je zin om mee te doen? In de banner in de rechterzijkant zie je 6 vraagtekens staan. Elk vraagteken staat voor een van de nieuwe bloemen. Op 30 juni zal Annelies 3 mensen blij maken met een van deze stansen.

It's the key to your dreams...........de sleutel naar je droom

Just a quicky, the beautiful key sheet of Chocolate Baroque......those stamps are so wonderful to work with...as all of the 'Chocolates' are!
I stamped the background with Brilliance copper and added some white pencil. The key and lock are embossed with copper EP, coloured with Tombo markers and cut out. Added some gems and ribbon and done!

Even een snel berichtje, de mooie sleutel set van Chocolate Baroque.......deze stempels zijn zo mooi om mee te werken........net zoals alle 'Chocolates' zijn!
Ik heb de achtergrond gestempeld met Brilliance koper en met wat wit potlood geaccentueerd. De sleutel en het slot zijn geembost met koper EP, gekleurd met Tombo's en uitgeknipt. Nog wat glinstersteentjes en lint en klaar! Deze stempelset is te koop bij de Posthumuswinkel in Amsterdam.

'Owl' thank you..............

I want to show you some cards which I've made for the Stamping event in Zeist in april. The first one 'owl thank you' is a very simple card. I stamped the Cover a card Spatter and Woodgrain onto kraftpaper and the image of the owls also. Just a little accent with white pencil and that was it!

Vandaag nog een paar kaarten die ik nog had van het event in Zeist in april. De eerste 'owl thank you' is een simpele kaart. Ik heb de achtergrond met de Cover a card achtergrond Spetter en houtnerf gestempeld op kraftpapier en de uiltjes ook. Nog wat accenten met wit potlood en klaar!



The second card is the Damask flower(one of the favourites) embossed with copper EP and coloured with Tombo markers in different shades of turquoise. On the background I stamped the Cover a card kaleidoscope with Brilliance copper. The edges are also embossed with copper EP.

De tweede kaart is de Damask bloem(een van de favourieten) geembosst met koper EP en gekleurd met Tombo markers in verschillende tinten turqouise. Op de achtergrond heb ik de cover a card Kaleidoscoop gestempeld met Brilliance koper. Ook de randen zijn geembosst met koper EP.
The 3rd card has been made with the "dot' stamp Daisey's from IO and only coloured in grey tones using aquareltechnique. I really love that sentiment........

De 3e kaart is gemaakt met de 'stippel' stempel Margrieten van IO en alleen gekleurd met grijstinten in de aquareltechniek. De tekst vind ik toch zo mooi.........

Elegant Iris...Chocolate Baroque

Hello dear crafters,

Today a card made with the Elegant Iris sheet of Chocolate Baroque. I made several cards with this sheet in my book and I really love it.
I stamped the backgroundflower onto lavender blue paper and coloured the flowers with Derwent pencils. A real 'zen' job....... The 'deco' iris is embossed with white EP. Afterwards I sponged with catseyes(lavender and purple) over the image and wiped away the ink over the embossed layer. The white embossing layer will pop up beiing more white again. Then added some Derwent colours. A little ribbon to finish it.

Vandaag een kaart gemaakt met de Elegant Iris sheet van Chocolate Baroque. Ik heb diverse kaarten met deze sheet gemaakt in mijn boekje en vind 'm geweldig. Ik heb de achtergrondbloem op lavendelkleurig papier gestempeld met Memento Paris Dusk en ingekleurd met de Derwent kleurpotloden. Een echt 'zen' karweitje... De deco Iris is gestempeld met Versamark en geëmbosst met witte EP. Hierna erover heen gesponst met catseyes (lavendel en paars) Hierna de overtollige inkt weggepoetst met een schone doek. Dan komt de witte embossinglaag weer mooi omhoog. Dan nog wat Derwent kleurtjes toegevoegd en een lint.

Hello dear people, Today I will show you a card I have made with Impression Obsession stamps. I have used the great Cover a card daffodils background with Chalk ink lime. I stamped the IO key onto olive green paper with black ink and coloured with my derwent pencils. The sentiment is also from IO. The corner punch is from Stampin Up.

Vandaag wil ik jullie een kaart laten zien die ik heb gemaakt met de stempels van Impression Obsession. Ik heb de cover a card achtergrond Narcissen gestempeld met Chalk inkt lime. De sleutel is gestempeld met zwarte inkt op olijfgroen papier en ingekleurd met mijn derwent potloden. De tekst is ook van IO. De fotohoek pons is van Stampin Up.

Today I like you to show my version of the paper shoe. My other teamies created also very beautiful shoes.......look at their blogs and at the Chocolate Baroque designteam blog. You can download a template of a shoe for free at the CB website.

I made this shoe from craftpaper and use of the beautiful sheet from CB paisley Elephant. I stamped with brown ink and added some gold embossing and a white pencil for some accents. It has a eastern look...... hope to have inspired you. Please hop to the other blogs and enjoy the paper shoe journey!

Ik heb dit schoentje van kraftpapier gemaakt en het mooie sheet van Chocolate Baroque de ; paisley olifant. Ik heb gestempeld met bruine inkt en wat goud embossing toegevoegd en een wit kleurpotlood voor accenten. Het heeft een oosterse uitstraling..........hoop jullie te hebben geïnspireerd. Neem een kijkje op de andere blogs en geniet van de 'papieren schoen' reis!

IO stamps from designer Melissa Gordon-IO stempels van ontwerpster Melissa Gordon

Today I want to show some creations I've made using the great stamps from designer Melissa Gordon from Impression Obsession. Her drawings are made with a technique drawing tiny points. I believe they call it pointilisme...... The orchid is one of my favourites and she made several other beautiful flowers. Some of them are in my book like the daisey's, the cow and the little chickadees. I coloured the image and the stamp with inks and markers on waterbase. The gorgeous background(one of my fav's) is a cover a card from IO. I stamped that with purple on a lighter purple background. Then coloured it with my Derwents. I can do that for hours.........very therapeutical

Hallo, vandaag wil ik jullie wat creaties laten zien die ik met de mooie stempels van ontwerpster Melissa Gordon van IO heb gemaakt. Haar ontwerpen zijn gemaakt door te tekenen met kleine puntjes. Dit noemen ze geloof ik pointilisme. De orchidee is een van mijn favourieten en ze heeft nog diverse andere bloemenstempels gemaakt. Sommigen daarvan staan ook in mijn boek, zoals de margrieten, de koe en de vogels. Ik heb de afbeelding en de stempel gekleurd met gebruik van inkt en markers op waterbasis. De mooie achtergrond (een van mijn favourieten) is een cover a card van IO. Deze is met paars gestempeld op een lichter paarse achtergrond. Daarna bewerkt met de Derwent kleurpotloden. Daar kan ik uren mee bezig zijn..........werkt zeer therapeutisch..........
Above you can see the first step without making a card of it........I think I like it that way the best but finally it became this........... in combination with the cover a card background damasks from IO and some ribbon, lace and pearls. The image has been made with pencil colouring. The background with water and sun has been sponged with pigment inks(catseyes)

Hierboven kun je de eerste stap zien zonder dat er een kaart van gemaakt is.......ik denk dat ik die de mooiste vind.......maar uiteindelijk werd het de versie hieronder......in combinatie met de cover a card achtergrond damask van IO en nog wat lint, kant en parels. De afdruk is hier gekleurd met kleurpotloden. De achtergrond met het water en de zon is gesponsd met pigment inkt(catseyes)
OK, now to the next one.......
These are the beautiful roses from Melissa Gordon, also a design made with those tiny points. Coloured with aquareltechnique and the background sponged with colorbox catseyes.

Ok, nu naar de volgende........ dit zijn de mooie rozen van Melissa Gordon, ook een ontwerp gemaakt met die kleine stipjes. Ik noem ze dan ook de 'stippelstempels'. Gekleurd met de aquareltechnique en de achtergrond gesponsd met de colorbox catseyes.

Chocolate Baroque creations with the Fancy Mandela sheet...........CB creaties met de Fancy Mandela set

Hell dear crafters, today I want to show you 2 "Spring'cards made with the Chocolat Baroque stamps from the Fancy Mandela set. Yellow is normally not my kind of colour to work with. But with these daffodils it was a must....At the first one I embossed the daffodils on aquarel paper and coloured them with Tombo markers(also aqua) On the background I have stamped a swirl(IO) and used some perfect pearls. The text is also an IO stamp.

Hallo allemaal, vandaag 2 kaarten die ik gemaakt heb met de Chocolate Baroque stempels van het Fancy Mandela sheet. Geel is normaal gesproken niet zo mijn kleur om mee te werken. Maar bij deze narcissen was het een must.... Bij de eerste heb ik de narcissen geembosst en met de aquareltechniek bewerkt. Op de achtergrond heb ik de Swirl van IO gebruikt en bewerkt met perfect pearls. De tekst is ook een IO stempel.

At the 2nd one I only used another image of this sheet. I used the same technique.The text on this card is from CB- 'Loving sentiments'

Bij de 2e heb ik alleen een andere afbeelding gebruikt van de sheet. Ik heb dezelfde techniek gebruikt. De tekst bij deze kaart is van CB- 'Loving Sentiments'

Vandaag een aantal kaarten die ik gemaakt heb voor de workshops bij Delmu in Ridderkerk. Inmiddels zijn er 2 workshops geweest en volgt er nog een op woensdagavond 18 mei. Er is nog 1 plaats beschikbaar dus mocht je tijd en zin hebben, laat het me even weten! De kaarten zijn allemaal gemaakt met de Ranger distressinkten en met gebruik van de Hero arts frame cling stempels en de clearset 'Antique engravings'.

Tijdens de workshop kun je de distressinkt voor een leuk prijsje aanschaffen!

Vandaag 3 kaarten die ik heb gemaakt met de Hero arts clear setjes. Het zijn allemaal bloemen, heerlijk om in te kleuren. Natuurlijk weer met de Tombo markers. Het grote blad is een Impression Obsession stempel. Ik heb de kissing technique gebruikt in combinatie met de cover a card achtergrond stempels van IO.

Hello everybody, like to show you these bwg creations which I've made for the event in Zeist for the Posthumusshop. I have used stamps of Impression Obsession. The two chickadees are one of my favourites. They are also in my book....in different versions. This one is plain black stamping and the background I've made with white EP on black. Hallo allemaal, ik wil jullie deze zwg creaties laten zien die ik gemaakt heb voor het event in Zeist voor de Posthumuswinkel. Ik heb stempels gebruikt van Impression Obsession. De twee vogeltjes zijn een van mijn favourieten. Je kunt ze ook vinden in mijn boekje in diverse versies. Deze zijn gewoon met zwart gestempeld. De achtergrond is met wit geembosst op zwart.


The 2nd one also made with use of IO stamps. The flourish I stamped with Brilliance gold. The keys are embossed with gold and coloured with aquarelmarkers.

De 2e ook gemaakt met IO stempels. De swirl is gestempeld met Brilliance goud. De sleutels zijn geembosst met goud en ingekleurd met aquarelmarkers.




The 3rd one is a mix of IO background/Heroarts text/ Chocolat Baroque Peackock/ stamps. Embossed with gold EP and coloured with aquarelmarkers.

De 3e is een mix van IO-achtergrond/Hero arts tekst/ Chocolat Baroque pauw sheet/ stempels. Geembosst met goud en ingekleurd met aquarelmarkers.

More creations with my stamp 'the Phoenix lady' - meer creaties met mijn stempel 'vuurvogelvrouw'

Dear crafters, Today I will show you more creations as promised with my own stamp of the'Phoenix' lady. It's very special when your drawing is transformed into rubber! I made some more designs in a similar style and I hope some day they will also pressed into rubber.

The first one I have made using the alcohol inks and using the blender pen of Copic for those little flames. I have coloured the lady with Copics. On the background I have used my favourite paisley's of Impression Obsession.( a cling set- for sale at the Posthumusshop) Also used the liquid pearls for special accents. I have coloured the paisley's with my Derwent pencils. When I have enough money in the pocket I will certainly try out the Prisma colours! I am curious if they are better than Derwent..........?

The 2nd one I have made also with alcohol inks but did not use the copic blender. I only gave some accents in the lady and flames with a white gel pen.


With the 3rd one I have used the sponging technique with colorbox cats-eyes and a circle template. On the background I have used the Flourish 1 from Impression Obsession and gave some accents with a white pencil. The lady has some accents with the Derwent pencils and some prismaglitters. You can see at the use of colours, very 'firy' that it fits my 'Phoenix' lady. That name came up in a period of my life when the story of the Phoenix was very a like to my life. Going down into ashes and reborn again. That is still a repeating process........ Thanks for visiting and have a fine Easter, greetz, Miranda



Vandaag laat ik jullie meer creaties zien die ik beloofd had te maken met mijn eigen stempel "de vuurvogel' vrouw. Het is bijzonder om het ontwerp dat je zelf getekend hebt uitgewerkt te zien in rubber. Ik heb naast deze vrouw nog meer ontwerpen in dezelfde stijl gemaakt en ik hoop dat ze een keer omgezet worden in rubber!

De eerste heb ik gemaakt met gebruik van alcohol inkt en daarbij de Copic blender pen voor die kleine vlammetjes. Ik heb de vrouw ook gekleurd met Copics. Op de achtergrond heb ik mijn favouriete paisley's gebruikt van IO.(cling set bij Posthumus te koop)Voor wat extra accenten heb ik Liquid pearls gebruikt. De paisley's zijn weer gekleurd met Derwent kleurpotloden. Wanneer mijn portemonnee het toelaat wil ik heel graag eens de prismacolour potloden uit proberen. Ben benieuwd of ze beter zijn dan Derwent......?

Bij de 2e heb ik ook alcohol inkt gebruikt maar geen blender gebruikt. Ik heb alleen wat accenten gegeven met de witte gelpen en een zwarte fineliner.

Bij de 3e heb ik de sponstechniek gebruikt met de colorbox cats-eyes en een cirkelmal. Op de achtergrond heb ik de flourish 1 van IO gebruikt en geaccentueerd met een wit potlood. De vrouw heeft ook wat accenten met de kleurpotloden en glitters gekregen.

Je kunt zien dat het gebruik van kleur, zeer vurig, past bij mijn 'vuurvogel'vrouw. Die naam kwam omhoog in een periode van mijn leven waarbij het verhaal van de 'feniks' alias vuurvogel precies paste bij de gebeurtenissen in mijn leven. Neergaan in het as en weer geboren worden..........dat is nog steeds een herhalend proces.........

It was a great happening event 2011- het was een grandioze happening het event 2011 in Zeist

Hello there, the event in Zeist 2011 was a great happening. My book is well received and people were very enthousiastic! Also very nice to write something personal into the book for some people. So nice to meet people I only knew by name. Hope you get a lot of inspiration from it and hope to see you all next year! Also very tired and need some days to power up some energy! On the photo's you can see an impression.


On the other photo you can see a card created with the stamp I designed going with my book. It must represent the 'Phoenix'(in Dutch vuurvogel) like my emailname.There is a story behind it but I will need another blog to talk about that.......Soon I will show you some other creations with it!

Het event in Zeist 2011 was een grandioze happening weer. Mijn boekje is goed ontvangen en iedereen was erg enthousiast! Het was erg leuk om er iets persoonlijks in te schrijven voor sommige mensen. Ook heel leuk om mensen te ontmoeten die ik alleen van naam kende en een klein fotootje. Sommigen herkende ik dan ook echt niet. Nogmaals sorry hoor! Ik hoop dat jullie er inspiratie uit halen en hoop jullie weer te zien op het volgende event. Ook erg moe en heb wel een paar dagen nodig om de energie weer bij te laden. Op de foto's kun je wat impressies zien. Op de andere foto zie je een kaart gemaakt met de stempel die ik ontworpen heb bij mijn boekje. Het stelt de 'vuurvogel' voor, dezelfde naam als mijn emailnaam. Daar gaat een verhaal achter schuil, maar daar heb ik een ander blog voor nodig! Binnenkort laat ik er nog andere creaties mee zien.
