Beautiful Magnolia from Studio Light

Hello world,

Today, as promised.....the beautiful Magnolia from Studio Light. The background was made some while ago....as I remember well I did use fluid inks and a stencil which creates lovely rays of light......As you can see I also did some spattering with silver and white inks......

I stamped the flower using Memento inks, Rhubarb stalk and Loveletter for the flower and plain black for the branch. Also did some masking......

Vandaag, zoals beloofd.....de mooie Magnolia van Studio Light. De achtergrond had ik al een tijdje geleden gemaakt.......als ik me goed herinner met vloeibare inkten en een stencil dat mooie stralen van licht creëert. Zoals je ziet heb ik gespetterd met zilver en witte inkt......

Beautiful Lily from Studio Light

Hi there,

Today I want to show you my take with the lovely Lily stamp from Studio Light. Again on a background made using Brusho's. I have stamped the Lily using Memento Potters Clay and masked some of the flowers to create a large branche with several stamps from the sheet.

Vandaag wil ik jullie mijn creatie laten zien die ik gemaakt heb met de mooie lelie van Studio Light. En ook weer op een Brusho achtergrond. Ik heb de lelie gestempeld met Memento Potters Clay en heb sommige bloemen gemaskerd om zo een lange tak te creëren met de lelies.

I have coloured the image using several brands of coloured pencils. Soon I will have another one for you using the beautiful Magnolia stamp from Studio Light.

Ik heb de afbeelding gekleurd met diverse merken kleurpotloden. Binnenkort laat ik jullie ook de mooie Magnolia zien van Studio Light.

New stencils at Magenta and workshops at the Stampingcorner......

Today a blogpost to tell you about two new stencils that has been made by Magenta( not on the website yet) and I am so proud to have designed them.......have lots of more ideas .......

These are the stencils, they come in 2 or 3 sizes and you can see the images below

There is both the positive and negative shape, so lots of possibilities to use them!

Vandaag een blogpost om jullie te vertellen dat er twee nieuwe stencils zijn, uitgegeven door Magenta en zo trots dat het ontwerpen zijn die ik heb gemaakt.......heb nog veel meer ideeën......

Dit zijn ze..........ze zullen er in 2 of 3 maten zijn en je ziet ze hieronder.....
Er is zowel de positieve als negatieve vorm, dus veel mogelijkheden om ze te gebruiken!
Momenteel heeft alleen Stampingcorner ze in huis! Kwamen pas binnen op de 2e dag van de workshop vanwege oponthoud bij de douane, dus het was spannend........

I have experienced a very good creative energy these days, people were in a flow creating with the Gelli-plate using paints and stencils at the first part of the day and after the break they worked with the new stencils, stamps and Pan Pastels.........although some people experienced some difficulties to create what they had in mind because they were new with working on a Gelli-plate .....at the end of the day they could really create what they had in mind and each and everyone was satisfied with their creation!

So YES I sure think we will do this workshop again in the future..........

Ik heb tijdens deze workshops een heerlijke creatieve energie ervaren en mensen waren echt in de flow, bezig met de Gelli-plates, stencils, stempels en verf. In de ochtend maakten ze diverse prints en na de break werden er 's middags diverse prints verder bewerkt met Pan Pastels en de nieuwe stencils.

Ondanks dat sommige mensen nieuw waren met het werken met de Gelli-plate en eerst zoiets hadden; is dat wel wat voor mij of ' dat is helemaal mijn ding niet' ....op het einde van de dag hadden ze toch dat gemaakt waar ze helemaal happy mee waren en waren ze ook enthousiast over de Gelli-plate!

Dus JA, we gaan zeker deze workshop nog eens doen in de toekomst.........

Lovely Hummingbirds from Designs by Ryn......

This was one of the cards of the Hummingbird ' batch' I did not show you, so here it is.......made on a background with fluid inks in purple and green shades.......coloured with pencils.

Dit was een van de kaarten uit de serie ' Hummingbirds' van designs by Ryn die ik nog niet had laten zien.......gemaakt op een achtergrond van vloeibare inkten in paars en groen tinten......gekleurd met potloden.

Studio Light orchids on a Brusho background

Hi there,

Today my first creation made with one of the beautiful Studio Light clear stamps. They have been made of a good quality Polymer  and stamp very good. The image is very crisp.....This time I have used the Orchids. Always like orchids

I had some Brusho backgrounds waiting to have a play and I did stamp with some light colors of Memento dye inks. Always like it when the outlines are not too dark....It gives a more natural look.....I have a darker print next to me to have a good view on the lines of the image.

I colored the flowers with my old Karisma pencils and some of the Derwent Coloursoft. I like them both, they have a good ' bite' on the paper. It's a pity that the Prisma colour pencils can't be purchased here anymore........and I am still looking for a good replacement when my Karisma's are gone.......

Hallo allemaal,

Vandaag mijn eerste creatie gemaakt met de mooie Studio Light clear stempels. Ze zijn van een goede kwaliteit polymeer gemaakt en stempelen erg goed, wat zeker niet opgaat voor alle clear stempels van andere merken. Ook is de prijs leuk, niet te duur........Deze keer heb ik de orchideeën gebruikt. Ik vind dat altijd zulke mooie bloemen en wil je kleur voorbeelden van deze bloemen, kijk dan eens op Pinterest en sla ze op in een map. Zo print ik ook wel eens afbeeldingen uit en maak een inspiratie map.

Ik had nog wat Brusho achtergronden liggen en heb hierop de orchideeën met een lichte kleur Memento Dye inkt gestempeld. Ik vind het altijd mooi om niet te harde outlines te hebben, dat geeft een natuurlijker effect. Wel druk ik de stempel een keer af met een duidelijke kleur om een goed voorbeeld naast me te hebben. 

Ik heb de bloemen gekleurd met m'n oude Karisma's en enkele Derwent Coloursoft potloden. Ik vind ze beide fijn omdat ze een goed ' bite' hebben op het papier. Ik blend diverse lagen over elkaar maar gebruik geen terpentine.

Ik vind het jammer dat de Karisma's niet meer verkrijgbaar zijn een ook kunnen de Prismacolour potloden hier niet meer ingevoerd worden........dus ik ben nog steeds op zoek naar een soortgelijke vervanger......

Blue and green and Chocolate Baroque.......

Hi there,

Today another post using fluid inks and Chocolate Baroque stamps. I have used one of the flowerhead stamps, the swirl center flowerhead and a fragment of the Damask Panel, love that one.....

I have used some green and blue inks for the background and stamped the flowerhead 3 times and colored it with pencils. One flowerhead is embossed using gold and colored with waterbased markers.

Vandaag een andere post met de vloeibare inkten en CB stempels. Ik heb de swirl center flowerhead en een fragment van de Damask Panel gebruikt. Vind dat Damask panel erg leuk....... Ik heb voornamelijk blauw en groen gebruikt op de achtergrond en de bloem 3x gestempeld. Daarna gekleurd met kleurpotloden. Ook de bloem nog een keer geembosst met goud en gekleurd met markers op waterbasis. Hierna nog wat accenten witte acrylmarker(Molotov geeft voor mij nog steeds het witste accent)
