Today some more Christmas creations with the new stamps from Chocolate Baroque! I really love this angel face, it's a real joy to colour her. I've used Distress inks and Distress markers. After that adding some coloured pencils.
Well can you understand that this is one of my favorite stamps now? I've used the acrylic background technique which I've also described in my last book. You can also see this technique on Glenda's Monday Mojo techniques. She explaines it very well step by step. I've used the old text fragments from the Gothic angels sheet and some ivy stamps from the Christmas Foliage. I've used the WOW embossing powder Olive and Magical Mauve.

Vandaag meer Kerst creaties met de nieuwe stempels van Chocolate Baroque. Ik vind dit gezicht prachtig, een plezier om te kleuren! ik heb Distress inkten gebruikt en Distress markers. Hierna nog wat geaccentueerd met kleurpotlood.
Je kunt nu wel begrijpen waarom dit een van mijn favoriete stempels is op dit moment! Ik heb de acryl blok achtergrond gebruikt welke ook beschreven is in mijn laatste boekje. Je kunt deze techniek ook stap voor stap zien bij de Monday Mojo technieken van Glenda. Ze legt het stap voor stap duidelijk uit. Je kunt je ook aanmelden voor de wekelijkse maandag nieuwsbrief. De week begint dan steeds met een nieuwe inspiratie, dat is leuk toch?
Ik heb de oude tekstfragmenten van de
Gothic angels sheet gebruikt en ook wat klimop takjes van de
Christmas Foliage sheet.
The 2nd one is very different in colour scheme......not my kind of usual colours......I've used Mustard seed and Faded Jeans and Stormy sky with the acrylic bloc technique and stamped the elements with the same colours. You can also see one of the Gothic fragments. I've used also the craquele fragment from the Echoes of Italy sheet. A fragment which I will often use!
De tweede is zeer verschillend in kleur schema......niet mijn gewoonlijke kleuren......Ik heb Mustard seed, Faded Jeans en Stormy sky met de acryl blok techniek gebruikt en daarna gestempeld met deze kleuren. Ook zie je een element van
de Gothic fragments. Ook heb ik de craquele stempel gebruikt van de
echoes of Italy sheet, een favoriete stempel die ik zeker vaak zal gebruiken!
In the close-up you can see the shimmer on her wings, it's an iridiscent medium from Winsor &Newton. Great stuff to play with...... On the flute I've used gold ecoline and on the halo some fine glitter powder. Besides a phoenix I am also a magpie .....LOL
Op de close-up zie je de sprankeling op haar vleugels, het is Iridiscent medium van Winsor&Newton en het is een geweldig medium om mee te werken op veel manieren. Op de fluit heb ik goud ecoline gebruikt en op de halo fijn glitter poeder. Ben nu eenmaal behalve een vuurvogel ook een ekster......LOL
