Lots and lots of layers of embossing and Magenta!

 Hi there,

Today my post using the lovely stamps from Magenta very suitable for paper cropping! They are favorites of me for quit a while.........

We used them this time in the workshop from the Stampingcorner and we did work with them in the morning and in the afternoon they did work with the beautiful pigment powders called Nuance from Magenta.

Vandaag mijn blogpost waarbij ik de kaarten laat zien die er gemaakt werden tijdens de workshop bij de Stampingcorner. Deze werden in de ochtend gemaakt en ' middags gingen we aan de slag met de mooie Nuance poeders van Magenta

And the cards using Nuance powders and a mix of several stamps; Impression Obsession, Magenta and Woodware

The poinsettia and sentiment are from Impression Obsession

The autumn branch, small berry branch and holly berry flourish are from Magenta

The word sentiment(love it) is from Magenta and the ivy branch on the background is from Woodware( also a favorite!)

Ornament stamps from Chocolate Baroque as dreamcatchers

Here another blogpost from me.........we did work with the beautiful ornamental stamps from Chocolate Baroque during a workshop at the Stamping Cottage at Schaik. You can find these stamps here.

I decided to transform them into dreamcatchers using several leaf stamps from the  Bold blooms/Fresh Blooms and the Tangled Garden sheet from Chocolate Baroque.

The words are from the Artistic Expressions.

And here my 3 samples....... I was inspired for the blue/red ones by the colors of a cell phone cover of a friend......The backgrounds are made using Distress inks with the acrylic bloc technique. Some gold, silver or pearl embossing for the ornaments and leaves........and coloring with a water brush and Distress inks.

It's great to use the other ornament in the background because these ornaments have also a more bold version .......

Hier weer een andere blogpost van mij.......een tijdje geleden alweer hebben we gewerkt met de mooie ornament stempels van chocolate Baroque tijdens een workshop bij de Stamping Cottage in Schaik. Je kunt alle stempels hier vinden. De Stamping Cottage heeft een enorm assortiment van Chocolate Baroque.

Ik had besloten om deze stempels een ander tintje te geven door ze als dreamcatcher te verwerken in combinatie met de mooie blad stempels van de Bold blooms en Fresh blooms en de Tangled Garden van Chocolate Baroque. Hieronder zie je de twee ornamenten; Teardrop Baroque ornament en

On the background of this one I have also used the beautiful stamps of these sheets: Decadent Brocade and Breath of Spring

For a finishing touch I have used pearl pens.

Voor de finishing touch heb ik wat pearl pen accenten gezet.

Chocolate Baroque inspirations & 4" round Gelli-plate

It's been a while due to life circumstances.........being hospitalized and now starting up again teaching workshops. 

But I found some time to show you my creations made for the Kreadoe 2016 using the beautiful Chocolate Baroque designs and the 4' inch round Gelli-plate. I worked for the first time with Distress inks on the Gelli-plate and I must say.....I like that too! I was teaching workshops for the great craftshop de Duif from Leeuwarden.

Now enough talking........here are the samples I've made.......

The first two samples are made using the ' Summer Poppies' from CB, a lovely sheet with both images of the same flower, bold and outlines........ I love that sentiment....one of my favorite songs from Porgy and Bess.......

Most of the stencils I have used on the Gelli-plate are from the Dutchdoobadoo company!

Alweer een tijdje geleden, na een ziekteperiode ben ik ik weer bezig op te starten met het geven van workshops.

Maar toch wat tijd gevonden om jullie mijn creaties te laten zien die ik voor de Kreadoe 2016 maakt waar ik workshops gaf voor de mooie winkel van ' de Duif' uit Leeuwarden.

Deze stempels zijn dan ook te koop bij de Duif!

Ik heb voor het eerst gewerkt met Distress inkt op de Gelli-plate en moet zeggen....ik vind het leuk!

some of the word stamps are from Altenew.....

sommige van de (brush)teksten zijn van Altenew

And the sheet ' Wisteria Lane' ......also some very pretty images on that one......

En het sheet ' Wisteria Lane' ook hele mooie stempels zitten hierop, vooral dat hangende takje...
