Healing....A journey traveled one step at a time

Hi there,

This time I will show you my first creation made with lovely quotes from Verses. The coming time I will be showing more of their great collection of quotes and sentiments. Always like to work with beautiful sentiments so I am happy to be on the Design team.And I can use their sentiments with other work too.

I have made a soft toned creation using their sentiment ' Healing.....A journey traveled one step at a time........

I also used the beautiful background from Penny Black(Damask) and the rose is from Studio Light. You can also see some fragments of a text stamp on the background, I believe it was from Artemio.

I have used Distress inks with the acrylic bloc technique.(Pumice stone and Victorian Velvet)

Deze keer laat ik jullie mijn eerste creatie zien met een van de mooie teksten van  Verses. De komende tijd zullen jullie hier meer van zien omdat ik design team lid ben geworden. Ze hebben een prachtige collectie tekst stempels in allerlei thema's.

Ik heb hier een kaart gemaakt in zachte vintage achtige kleuren met hun tekst' Healing.....A journey traveled one step at a time........

Ik heb de mooie achtergrondstempel van Penny Black(Damask pattern)gebruikt en de roos is van Studio Light. Je kunt ook wat tekst fragmenten in de achtergrond zien. Ik geloof een stempel van Artemio.....

Ik heb Distress inkten gebruikt en de acrylblok techniek.

bouquets from Magenta....

Today two creations made with the lovely stamps from Magenta. I have them for quit a while but still my favorites.........these are stamps which are very suitable for cropping, embossing and coloring and creating all kind of lay-outs. You have seen them before in previous blogposts and they are great for every season, also for Christmas creations!
I have worked on the 'Oud Hollands' paper which is beautiful and very suitable for watercolouring techniques. Embossed with different kind of Wow silver embossing powders. I have used the cool aqua tones and coloured with water based markers. I have two samples for you and I also will join the Magenta challenge of this month. If you like you can join too! Hallo lieve mensen,

Vandaag twee creaties met de mooie Magenta stempels. Ik heb deze al een lange tijd in mijn verzameling en ze blijven nog steeds mijn favorieten.......deze stempels zijn zeer geschikt om te embossen, in te kleuren en uit te knippen en diverse arrangementen mee te maken. In de loop van de tijd hebben jullie ze voorbij zien komen voor alle seizoenen, ook voor kerst!
Ik heb gewerkt op het mooie Oud-Hollands papier dat zeer geschikt is voor aquarel technieken, kan aardig wat water hebben.....
Geembosst met diverse zilveren  embossingpoeders van Wow. Ik heb de koele aquatinten gekozen en gekleurd met markers op waterbasis. ik heb hier twee voorbeelden en ik doe hier mee met de Magenta challenge van deze maand. Als je het leuk vindt en je hebt ook wat Magenta stempels doe dan mee! Kijk even op hun blog voor meer info......

Colourchallenge 13 at Chocolate Baroque........

Today my take on the 13th colourchallenge of Chocolate Baroque! 
The Challenge blog is approaching its one year Anniversary, and we are preparing for the big event,
 which is not to be missed, as there will be prizes across the month. Pay a visit to the blog if you want to join, and leave a comment if you have the time. Maybe you are the lucky one.........

I have used the lovely  ' a little bird told me' sheet. And I've worked with the next Distress colors: Scattered straw/ Brushed Corduroy/Peeled Paint and Seedless Preserves. I also used one of the lovely flowers of the ' Nouveau lovebirds ' sheet. On the background you see the pattern of the Joggles stencil ' Secret Garden'. The birdcages are embossed with Wow Brass embossing powder and the bird is coloured with color pencils. I gave also some accents on the flowers with color pencils.

Vandaag mijn interpretatie van de 13e kleuren challenge bij Chocolate Baroque!
Het challengeblog bestaat bijna 1 jaar en we maken al voorbereidingen om het te vieren. Mis het niet want er zijn mooie prijzen te winnen! Breng een bezoek aan het challengeblog als je mee wilt doen en laat een berichtje achter als je tijd hebt. Misschien ben jij wel een van de gelukkigen......

Ik heb het mooie  ' a little bird told me', sheet gebruikt. En ik heb gewerkt met deze Distress kleuren: Scattered straw, Brushed Corduroy,Peeled paint and Seedless preserves. Another Summer creation with Crafters Companion.....

Hi there,

Today another Summer creation made with the lovely lace dies from Crafters Companion.This time I've used the Brick wall die. When you look at the package you can not imagine that this die cut is so lovely!

Here is my card made in fresh white and citrus green shades........I've used the Ivy trails die of Creative Expressions and the Crealies flowers set of 3 no.1.  and Double fun no. 12( one of my fav's to combine with the flowers)......The stamps are also from Crafters Companion. On the flowers I have stamped with the cool texture stamps of Crealies Bits and Pieces no.3 and 7. You can find them here.....
Almost forgot but on the front panel I have used the Crealies ' on the edge ' die no. 3

Vandaag een andere zomerse creatie met de mooie kant-achtige mallen van Crafters Companion. Deze keer heb ik de Create a card  Brick wall snijmal gebruikt. Deze mal is te koop bij 't Hobbyschuurke in Ridderkerk en ook alle andere producten die ik op deze kaart heb gebruikt.
Wanneer je deze mallen in de verpakking ziet zou je niet zeggen dat ze zo mooi zijn!

Hier is mijn kaart in fris wit en lime groen.........ik heb de Ivy trails van Creative expressions gebruikt en de  Crealies flowers set of 3 no.1 en Double fun no. 12 ( een van mijn favorieten om te mixen bij alle bloemen) Op de bloemen heb ik gestempeld met de gave textuur stempels van Crealies, Bits& pieces no.3 en 7. Je kunt ze hier vinden.....
Bijna vergeten maar op het eerste flapje heb ik de on the edge ' die no. 3 gebruikt van Crealies.

Hope to have inspired you although the very warm weather does not really invite us to have some crafty moments, isn't it? More of cool showers, swimming and sitting in the shade doing nothing at all......but sometimes we don't have that luxury? 

Hoop jullie geïnspireerd te hebben ondanks dat het warme weer niet echt uitnodigt om te gaan hobbyen he? Liever wat koele douches, zwemmen en lekker lui zitten en niets doen........maar ja soms hebben we die luxe niet he?

Birds of Paradise.......from Chocolate Baroque

Hi there,

Today it's my turn to show you what I have done with these new beautiful birds and birdcages........I've mainly used the 'Free as a bird' sheet but also used some of the birdcages of the ' a little bird told me'.

I have used a background made with fluid inks, like Ecoline on watercolor paper. 

I have stamped the 3 birds of the ' as free as a bird' sheet using green and purple Memento inks. Than I extend the branches by drawing with a black fineliner 0.1 mm. Than I stamped the birdcages using black ink. In the two corners I have stamped a fragment of the bird with flowers and leaves.

Than the fun started.....colouring with color pencils and some accents with a white marker.

The sentiment is from the ' a little bird told me' sheet.

Er zijn weer twee mooi nieuwe stempel sheets gelanceerd door Chocolate Baroque.
Dit zijn ze.... natuurlijk ook weer in multi-buy te verkrijgen om geld uit te sparen..........

 

vandaag is het mijn beurt om te laten zien wat ik heb gemaakt met deze prachtige vogels en vogelkooien van Chocolate Baroque. Ik heb hoofdzakelijk de  'Free as a bird' sheet gebruikt en wat kooien van de a little bird told me'.

De achtergrond is gemaakt met vloeibare inkten zoals Ecoline en Shadow paint inkten. Ik heb de vogels gestempeld met groene en paarse Memento inkt. Toen heb ik de takken verlengd door met een fineliner 01 mm te tekenen. Hierna de vogelkooien gestempeld met zwart en in de twee hoeken een fragment van de vogel met bloemen gestempeld.
Toen begon de pret.......kleuren met kleurpotloden en wat accenten met een witte marker.
De tekst is van de ' a little bird told me' sheet.

Fragments and patchwork........

Today my last makes with the Fragments for this batch........will be using them often.....

I've made two cards using the Rustic fragments and the Seasonal Fragments. You can also buy them both as in a multi-by and save some money.....

I combined it with a patchwork pattern using die cuts. As I said before I am in the mood for geometric shapes, I have used the squares and circles before and now the hexagons.

Here is the first one......I've sponged the hexagons with Distress inks, splattered some water. The fragments are embossed with Wow pearl white and some have been given accents with the matching Distress markers. And final some transparent pearl pen accents.

I've combined them with the toadstools of the 'Autumn Poppy' sheet. These fragments are from the Seasonal Fragments.

Vandaag mijn laatste creaties met de Fragment stempels voor deze ronde.......zal ze zeker vaak gebruiken.....

Ik heb 2 kaarten gemaakt met zowel de Rustic fragments als de Seasonal Fragments. Je kunt ze ook in een multi-buy kopen en zo geld besparen.......

Ik heb ze gecombineerd met een patchwork patroon door middel van snijmallen. Zoals ik al eerder zei ben ik deze maand geïnspireerd door geometrische vormen. De vierkanten en cirkels zijn al geweest en nu de hexagons. 

Ook werd ik door deze vorm geïnspireerd via een kaart op het Stampingback blog gemaakt door Ank.

Altijd leuk om te vermelden als je ergens door geïnspireerd bent.....

Hier is de eerste.....ik heb de zeskantjes gesponst met Distress inkt, wat waterspetters en geembosst vooraf met Wow pearl white. Daarna wat accenten met de Distress markers en wat transparante parel accenten.

Ik heb ze gecombineerd met de paddestoelen van de 'Autumn Poppy'  sheet. Deze fragmenten komen van de Seasonal Fragments.

And the 2nd one......more a sea theme style combined with the 'Seaside dreams' sheet.

Made similar to the other one but with a smaller hexagon die cut. These bubble fragments come from the Rustic Fragments.  

En de tweede....meer in de zee sferen...gecombineerd met de 'Seaside dreams' sheet.

Z' on beetje hetzelfde als de andere kaart maar met kleinere zeskantjes. De bubbeltjes komen van de Rustic Fragments.

Also some transparent pearl pen droplets.......

En wat transparante druppels.......

Today I want to show you my 2nd creation made with one of Ryn's lovely hummingbirds, this is Flying Hummingbird 1. There are 4 of those lovely creatures, here you can see them.......

I had this background also made during our get together with Marja, Shirley and family so I just took a photo of the single background. It's made with Brusho powders and afterwards applying Liquitex Light Molding paste through the Hibiscus stencil of designs by Ryn. I like this molding paste very much because it's a bit transparant and sometimes it picks up colors beneath. You can see also the Ginko leaf stencil used in the background.

The DT members  of designs by Ryn received a fun package of Colour Arte to play with! There were Twinkling H2O's and one of the Radiant gels. You can see here what you can do with the Radiant gels!

Vandaag wil ik jullie mijn 2 creatie laten zien die ik gemaakt heb met de mooie kolibries van designs by Ryn, dit is de Flying Hummingbird 1. Zo zijn er 4 van die lieflijke vogeltjes, hier kun je ze allemaal zien....

Ik heb ook deze achtergrond gemaakt tijdens het samenzijn met Marja, Shirley en familie dus heb ik ook een foto gemaakt van de achtergrond alleen. Het is gemaakt met Brusho poeders en naderhand heb ik Liquitex light molding paste gebruikt met het Hibiscus stencil van designs by Ryn.

ik vind deze molding paste erg fijn want hij is een beetje transparant en neemt soms de onderliggende kleur ook aan. Ook zie je het gingko blad van het Ginko leaf stencil in de achtergrond.

Het DT van Ryn heeft allemaal een leuk pakketje ontvangen van Colour Arte met Twinkling H2O's en een Radiant Gel. Je kunt hier zien wat je met deze Radiant gels kunt doen.

Well, on to the flowers than.......I die cut the flower  and leaves from Leane creative from watercolor paper and painted it with Twinkling H2O's. After coloring and drying I stamped on them with Solar Gold H2O using a texture stamp.

Zo, nu naar de bloemen.......de bloemen en blaadjes zijn een snijmal van Leane creatief en gesneden uit aquarelpapier. Hierna gekleurd met de Twinkling H2O's. Na het kleuren en drogen zijn ze bestempeld met Solar Gold Tw. H2O met een textuur stempel.

 

On the leaves I have used Silk Acrylic glaze; Iridiscent green and gold. They come also in sets.

You can see here some of the effects with this great paint.

Op de blaadjes heb ik de Silk acrylic glazes over de H2O's gebruikt Ik heb gebruikt Iridiscent groen en goud. Hier kun je de effecten van deze gave verf zien......

Ik heb de mijne bij Kicostamps gekocht.

In a tropical forest..........

Today I will show you my card which I've made for the Colourstock blog. I had this background made while we were playing during a fantastic day with Marja, Shirley and her family after the event in April. 

We had a play with the lovely Hibiscus designs of Ryn. They come in rubber stamps and there is also a fantastic stencil! The beautiful sitting hummingbird is also from designs by Ryn.

I've coloured the bird with my Copic markers. The background was done with Brusho powders after I had embossed the flowers with clear embossing. I couldn't resist after finishing the card to use some of the gorgeous water droplets from Trickling water set 2.

The beautiful die cut flower and leaves are from Leane Creative. I've worked on the flowers with the Hibiscus stencil and Pan Pastel.
