Hi there,
During my holidays I was able to play, crafting in nature(see photo's)........it was lovely to do! So I had a chance to make a contribution for the first colourchallenge of Chocolate Baroque! I' ve used Distress inks in the matching colors and used the lovely CB Fancy flowers and the latest structure stamps( Harlequin and Tangled structures)......they are right up to my street! And again I worked on canvas structured paper.(like the roses in one of my previous posts) Here are the colours of the first challenge.
Here is my interpretation ...........
and a close-up......
So, just in time to contribute my part into this challenge....wanna join.......you have time till August 19th!!
Look at the CB colour challenge blog for more info. And of course to see all the lovely work that the DT and participants have created.
Hope to have inspired you and looking forward to more interpretations of this colour scheme from you!
creative greetz,
Miranda
Whoooo hoooo! I just spotted your name and had to come and see!!! Hope you are ok. Gorgeous work as always. I have not been able to put my finger on it (I have been looking at all the entries) and it has just struck me how different this color combo looks if there is more red. More sort of vibrant and alive.

BeantwoordenVerwijderenBeautiful as always Miranda. How great to be able to work outside too, the weather here in the UK is not good enough at the moment.

BeantwoordenVerwijderenSuch a pretty interpretation Miranda, the colours are so vibrant, and I love how you have coloured those flowers. Beautiful work as always. The background is lovely, and the addition of the texture stamps is great. Hope you are well, your work space looks very pleasant!

Fijn weekend/vakantie, Gerrina
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI think I see a box of Derwent pencils - probably the Inktense! I love that stream of golden bubbles rising along the left side & how beautifully it balances the clean colour blue opposite it. It's a delight to see how you have used the closed swirl curls to create edges for your design without overwhelming your focal image.

gorgeous Miranda, love the way you used the fragments
BeantwoordenVerwijderenHow beautiful and magical Miranda, I love the way your background colours melt into one another, and the fancy flowers are gorgeous. The fragments and the lovely swirl frame the flowers so well. What a lovely thing to do whilst on holiday. x
BeantwoordenVerwijderenHeerlijk om zo buiten in de vrije natuur lekker met je hobby bezig te zijn.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenJe werk is schitterend. Het aanzetten met het wit, vind ik erg mooi bij jou.
Zelf ben ik altijd bang dat ik m'n werk verruïneer! Bang om het teveel te doen denk ik.
Ga weer verder kijken bij je. Tjuus
