some forgotten cards.......nog wat vergeten kaarten

Today some cards which I've made some time ago and still haven't shown. The first one is done with the multicoloured embossing technique with WOW embossingpowders. I've done recently a blogpost on the WOW blog, you can see it here with this technique.

I've used a cover a card background from Impression Obsession  and the main image is also from IO. Inside the card I've used peacock stamps from Chocolate Baroque. (Peacock fan) The sentiment is from the 'Loving sentiments'.

Vandaag wat kaarten die ik al een tijdje geleden heb gemaakt maar nog niet heb laten zien. De eerste is gemaakt met de multi kleuren embossing techniek met de WOW embossing poeders. ik heb pas een blogpost gedaan op het WOW blog met deze techniek, je kun het hier  zien.

Ik heb een cover a card van Impression Obsession gebruikt en de pauwenveer is ook van IO. Aan de binnenkant van de kaart zijn de stempels van Chocolate Baroque.(Peacock fan)en de tekst van de loving Sentiments.

De stempels van Impression Obsession zijn te koop bij de Posthumuswinkel in Amsterdam.

The 2nd card is also a mix from IO and Chocolate Baroque stamps.

De tweede kaart is ook weer een mix van IO en CB stempels

The 3rd card is made only with Chocolate Baroque stamps.Again the Peacock fan. On the background you can see the stamp of the Texture fragments and the sentiment is from 'Butterfly dreams'.

De 3e kaart is alleen met CB stempels gemaakt. Weer de Peacock fan en op de achtergrond zie je een stempel van de  Texture fragments en de tekst is van Butterfly dreams'.

And the last one for now, all with Impression Obsession stamps. Cover a card Damask and again the lovely peacock feather. Multi colouring embossing technique with WOW emboss.powders.

En de laatste voor nu, deze alleen met IO stempels. Cover a card Damask en de mooie pauwenveer. Multi kleuren embossing techniek met de WOW emboss.poeders

Key to my dreams........from Chocolate Baroque

Hello there,

Today another tag made with the Key to my dreams sheet from Chocolate Baroque. I really love the effect of this technique. I've used Distress stains for the tag and stamped the keys with brown ink adding some accents with a white pencil. I've embossed the 'technique tile' with ultra thick embossing powder gold from Ranger and pressed the stamp into it when the embossing layer was still warm. Than I've rubbed some black acrylic paint on it and rubbed it again with a clean cloth to polish. Doesn't it look beautiful?

Vandaag nog een andere tag gemaakt met de Key to my dreams sheet van Chocolate Baroque.( te koop bij de Posthumuswinkel) Ik vind het effect van deze techniek echt prachtig. Ik heb Distress stains gebruikt voor de tag en de sleutels gestempeld met bruike inkt en geaccentueerd met wit potlood. Ik heb de 'technique tile' met ultra thick embossing poeder goud van Ranger geembosst en de stempel erin gedrukt toen de embossinglaag nog warm was. Hierna wat zwarte acrylverf erin gewreven en nog een keer nagepoetst met een schone doek om weer een mooie glans te krijgen.
Ziet het er niet mooi uit?
Deze technique tiles (Technique Tuesday) zijn in diverse vormen en maten te koop bij de Posthumuswinkel in Amsterdam. Misschien voor een dagje in de vakantie?

Here a pocket card using several stamps from Impression Obsession, Ranger and Chocolate Baroque. Again a technique tile made with triple embossing, this time with clear EP. On the tag I've used an acrylic tag from Ranger.

Hier een label kaart met diverse stempels van Impression Obsession, Ranger en Chocolate Baroque. Weer een technique tile gemaakt met triple embossing, dit keer met clear EP. Aan de label heb ik nog een acryl label van Ranger gehangen.

WOW multi colouring workshop.......lots of WOW embossing........

Today I want to share the cards made for the WOW workshop at the Posthumus shop in Amsterdam. We've used a lot of WOW powders and at the end of the day we had a very sparkly floor and a lot of fun! They could choose out of 5 themes and colour combi's, there was;

Vandaag wil ik jullie de kaarten laten zien die gemaakt zijn voor de WOW workshop bij de Posthumus winkel in Amsterdam. Het was weer gezellig en de mensen waren enthousiast. We hebben een heleboel embossing poeders gebruikt en aan het eind van de dag hadden we dan ook een zeer glinsterende vloer en veel plezier! 

De mensen konden kiezen uit 5 thema's en kleuren combi's, zie bovenstaande

Here is the first one..........made on pink paper with the WOW colours;

made with the Indian stamps of Chocolate Baroque, the main image is stamped with black and coloured with pencils. Some white highlights with a gelli pen and as you maybe have noticed the edges of the card are embossed too. This multi colouring technique requires focus, patience and precision.......you can imagine what it would be like to put the powder in the jar of another colour.......oooh

gemaakt met de the Indian stamps van Chocolate Baroque, de kleine afbeelding is gestempeld met zwart en ingekleurd met potloden. Wat highlights met witte pen en misschien heb je het gezien, de randen van de ondergrond zijn ook geembosst.

Deze veel kleurige embossing techniek vereist concentratie, geduld en zorgvuldigheid.....je kunt je voorstellen hoe het zou zijn als de poeders in een verkeerd potje worden terug gedaan ....oeps

The peacock feather on this card is stamped with Versamark and Black soot Distress ink, than sprinkled with WOW Neutral Ultra shimmer.

De pauwenveer op dit kaartje is gestempeld met Versamark en Black soot distress inkt, dan bestrooid met WOW Neutral Ultra shimmer en geembosst

Alle gebruikte WOW poeders zijn te koop bij de Posthumuswinkel evenals de gebruikte stempels.

Ranger meets Chocolate Baroque and Impression Obsession......

Today I want to show you the cards that I've made for the workshop at the Posthumusshop in Amsterdam a while ago. They also have some Ranger products now, so I am very happy to use the Distress inks and stains and some TH stamps. They combined lovely with the CB and IO stamps, come and have a look........
I've made a pocket card with a tag. It was a workshop of 40 minutes but when I've made this card with label I realised it was too short, so I skipped the embossing part.

Allereerst, welkom aan de nieuwe volgers! Hoop dat jullie geinspireerd worden en heb je vragen, voel je vrij om ze te stellen!

Vandaag laat ik jullie de kaarten zien die ik heb gemaakt voor de workshop bij de Posthumuswinkel in Amsterdam een tijdje geleden. Zij hebben nu ook diverse Ranger produkten waar ik heel blij mee ben zodat ik de Distress inkten en stains kan gebruiken en ook wat TH stempels. Ze combineren prachtig met de stempels van Chocolate Baroque en Impression Obsession.

I've used stains on the tag in combination with Distress ink and DI's on the top card.We have worked on 'Old Dutch' paper from the shop. I've used the TH stamps 'Tattered elements',Mini Classics' and 'Shabby French'. From Chocolate Baroque I've used the Indian stamps and from Impression Obsession the Cover a Card 'Kaleidoscope'.They combine very well.

Ik heb stains op de label gebruikt in combinatie met Distress inkt en Distress inkt op de bovenkaart. We hebben gewerkt op het Oud-Hollands kaart papier van Posthumus. Ik heb de volgende TH stempels gebruikt; 'Tattered Elements'' Mini Classics' en 'Shabby French'. Van Chocolate Baroque de Indiase stempels en van Impression Obsession de cover a card Kaleidoscoop. Ze combineren mooi bij elkaar.

The colours of the stains I've used on the tag are;
Walnut stain/picket fence/Tarnished Brass/ and a bit of blending with the DI Peeled paint.
On the top card I've used; Antique Linen, Vintage Photo and Peeled Paint.

De kleuren van de stains die ik heb gebruikt op de tag zijn;
Walnut stain/picket Fence/Tarnished brass en nog wat geblend met de Peeled Paint distress inkt.
Op de top kaart heb ik gebruikt; Antique Linen, Vintage Photo en Peeled Paint
Wow embossingpoeder Brass.

                Impression obsession; Cover a card Craquele, Crumpled Lace

 

I've coloured some elements with the Ranger pen nibs and Distress ink, also added some accents with the white gelli pen.(indispensible!)

Ik heb wat gedeelten gekleurd met de pen nibs van Ranger en distress inkt,  nog wat accenten met de witte gel pen(onontbeerlijk!)

And here are the easier version of the workshop cards........no embossing and we've worked here with the Special stamping paper from Ranger. I like this paper very much to work on. The colours are softer than on more absorbent paper.

En hier de makkelijkere versie van de workshop kaarten.......geen embossing en hier hebben we gewerkt op het speciale stempelpapier van Ranger. Ik vind het heel fijn papier om op te werken.De kleuren zijn wel wat zachter als op absorberend papier.

Lucine butterfly and Leopard spots, more designs by Ryn.....

Today I want to show you some of the creations made with the lovely designs from Ryn. I worked with the Lucine butterfly and the Leopard spots together.When I saw these spots I thought they would match perfect with the spots on the wings of a butterfly. Butterflies are also a bit hairy when you see them close-by.
I've had some backgrounds in my stash for a long time and this one is made with a crafters template, 'Flutter by' TCW 206, so it is a positive and a negative one with the same colours. 

Vandaag wil ik jullie een paar creaties laten zien met de  mooie ontwerpen van designs by Ryn. Ik heb gewerkt met de Lucine butterfly en de Luipaard vlekken samen. Toen ik deze vlekken zag vond ik ze perfect passen bij de vlekken op de vleugels van een mot of vlinder. Vlinders en motten zijn ook een beetje harig als je ze van dichtbij ziet.
De achtergronden had ik al een tijdje liggen en deze maakt ik met een Crafters template 'Flutter by' TCW 206, dus ik heb zowel de positieve als negatieve afdruk met dezelfde kleuren gebruikt.Ik koop deze stencils meestal bij de Stamping corner. Deze heeft een grote collectie. Ook Doe@Ding heeft er een aantal in de collectie.

This is the first one with the negative use of the stencil, there are also lots of glimmer sprays to see and I've embossed the Leopard spots with gold embossing. I've coloured the butterflies with pearlescent paint and cut them out. The quote is from Impression Obsession.

Dit is de eerste met het negatief gebruik van het stencil, je ziet ook heel wat glimmer spray en ik heb de vlekken geembosst met goud. Ik heb de vlinders gekleurd met pearlescent verf en uitgeknipt. De tekst is van Impression Obsession (Posthumus winkel)

The 2nd one is the positive use of the stencil and I've embossed with copper embossing and Cobalt Aurora from Cosmic Shimmer. The quote is also from Impression Obsession.

De tweede is gemaakt met de positieve kant van het stencil en ik heb geembosst met Koper en Lapis Cobalt Aurora embossing poeder van Cosmic Shimmer(Doe@Ding) De tekst is ook weer van Impression Obsession en is te koop bij de Posthumuswinkel in Amsterdam.
