Last Christmas in July cards.......

Hello there,

Today my last two Christmas cards joining the challenge at Impression Obsession' Christmas in July'.

Hope you liked my take on the Christmas subject and if you have questions, feel free to ask them!

The backgrounds of these cards are more busy than my previous bouquet cards but sometimes I am in the mood to fill up white areas!

And of course I have used only IO stamps here......the first one in a pink/purple color combi and the 2nd one I have used.....tadatada.....traditional Christmas red and greens.......I also like the brushed font of the text stamps.

De achtergronden van deze kaarten zijn wat drukker dan de vorige serie.....soms ben ik in de stemming om de witte gedeelten van de achtergrond te vullen (meestal eigenlijk LOL) En als ik dan de mooie kaarten van Hermine Koster zie.....dan wil ik ook meer WIT haha........

More Christmas in July creations........

Today another blogpost using a Christmas creation in July!! Temperatures still rising here....

Again I will participating in the Impression Obsession challenge ' Christmas in July' 

This time I have used a purple/pink color combination......like to use non-traditional Christmas colors.

I have used the kissing technique on the large solid leaf......used that leaf a lot......And of course I have used all IO stamps, they are great!

Dit keer met een paars/roze kleuren combi. Ik hou van niet-traditionele kerstkleuren.

Ik heb hierbij de kissing techniek gebruikt op het grote solid blad. ik heb dat blad al heel wat keertjes gebruikt en het blijft mooi......

Christmas in July.......challenge Impression Obsession

Here is card nr 1.........creating a Christmas bouquet using lots and lots of gorgeous IO stamps! We have made these kind of cards in a workshop at the Posthumusshop in Amsterdam. They sell lots of these stamps.

Ik zag de challenge ' Christmas in July' bij Impression Obsession en had nog wat creaties liggen die ik niet heb laten zien. Dus waarom niet meedoen..........

Hier is kaart nr. 1.........een kerst bouquet stempelen met allerlei prachtige stempels van Impression Obsession. We hebben deze kaarten gemaakt in een workshop bij de Posthumuswinkel in Amsterdam waar ze natuurlijk heel veel van deze yummie stempels verkopen.

Artsy notebook cover......

And my last notebook cover.........an artsy one.........like these colors and the stamps I have used here.........It's all about art stuff....and I like faces!

I have used a lot of Cover a card background stamps here and other Impression Obsession stamps.

The face is directly coloured onto the rubber and accentuated after stamping. Like these technique tiles from Technique Tuesday. There are so many possibilities with them.....

En mijn laatste notebook cover........eentje met art materialen........hou van deze kleuren en de stempels die ik gebruikt heb........allemaal artsy spullen.....en ik hou van gezichten!

Ik heb een heleboel Cover a card achtergronden gebruikt en veel andere stempels, allemaal van Impression Obsession.

Het gezicht is direct gekleurd op het rubber en na afdrukken wat geaccentueerd. De techniek tiles van Technique Tuesday zijn super om te bewerken met double en triple embossing techniek. Zoveel mogelijkheden......

SHE ....may be the face I can't forget........

Today I want to show you the SHE project which I have designed for the Posthumus shop in Amsterdam. I had the idea to create a small folder and within a leporello with several pages. But during the creation process I found out that it would take all day to create this instead of the 3 hours which we had for the workshop. So I had to adapt the idea.......and this is what came out........

Impression Obsession has a lot of woman face stamps and great SHE quotes which matches perfect with the theme I had in mind.

I have made two variations, one classic one and an artsy one.......

This is the front of the cover.......

 Vandaag wil ik jullie het SHE project laten zien wat ik gemaakt heb voor de workshop bij de Posthumuswinkel in Amsterdam. Misschien heb je al wel voorbeelden voorbij zien komen op Facebook of blogs gemaakt door enkele van de deelnemers. Elk boekje is weer anders geworden, zo leuk........

Ik had het idee om een mapje te maken met daarin een leporello met 5 gedeeltes(voor en achter)Maar gedurende het ' creatieproces' kwam ik erachter dat we dan wel de hele dag nodig zouden hebben dus moest het idee aangepast worden. We hadden immers maar 3 uur.

Impression Obsesssion heeft een hoop gezicht stempels en gave SHE teksten die perfect bij dit thema passen dat ik in gedachten had.

Dit kwam er uit......

More Rose inspirations.....

Miranda here with more rose inspirations for you........again(at request) we had more workshops with the beautiful roses from Impression Obsession at the Posthumus shop in Amsterdam.

In addition to the previous cards I have made some more. On the beautiful canvas paper and this time using Memento inks and coloring with the water based Tombo markers.

We worked with the roses from previous workshops but also with a few new ones and I have also made a very modern design instead of all the classic ones.

So here we go.........

Miranda hier met meer rozen inspiraties voor jullie......we hebben weer diverse workshops gehad bij de Posthumuswinkel in Amsterdam met de mooie rozen van Impression Obsession. Deze stempels zijn te koop bij de Posthumus winkel.

In aanvulling op de vorige kaarten heb ik er nog wat meer gemaakt. Op het mooie canvas papier en deze keer met de Memento dye inkten. Het kleuren hebben we gedaan met de Tombo markers.(waterbasis)

We hebben gewerkt met de rozen van de vorige workshops maar ook een paar nieuwe en ik heb ook een modern design kaart met de rozen gemaakt om te laten zien dat ze er heel anders uit kunnen zien dan de klassieke versies.

Dus hier gaan we dan......

The first one with some of the new roses from Impression Obsession. A very open rose which is great to color! It's called Beauty in bloom large and there is also the smaller version.

 On the background we used several cover a cards and some single stamps like the Typography text and the three blooming roses. 

De eerste kaarten zijn gemaakt met de nieuwe open rozen, genaamd Beauty in bloom large en Beauty in bloom small. Op de achtergrond natuurlijk weer diverse cover a card achtergronden gebruikt van IO. Ook de mooie typografie tekst en de tree blooming roses.

The same rose but in a very modern style.......just like this one! I have made this in combination with some grungy stamps.

Dezelfde roos maar de moderne versie......ik vind deze zo leuk! Gemaakt in combinatie met wat grunge stempels en wat zwarte lijnen getrokken om vlakken te creëren. Hoewel de meeste deelnemers gingen voor de klassieke versies werd er toch wel steeds 1 gemaakt in de groepen.

Now over to the classic versions, made with shades of green and some pink

Nu naar de klassieke versies, diverse tinten groen en roze....

Een enkele roos, wat maskeren en de rozenknop achter de enkele roos gestempeld voor een gedeelte.....tinten van grijs en bruin

The large rose and two other beauties, masking and look at all the textures in the background created with all the cover a card backgrounds.

De grote roos en de twee andere beauties, maskeren en kijk eens naar al de mooie textuur in de achtergrond, gemaakt met alle cover a cards achtergronden, die zijn toch zo super!

And a totally other color combination with purple, violet and blue shades......

Well, those were the new designs and probably there will be more because I will never get tired of doing this style....... people already asked if there will be new workshops with the roses in the next year!

Zo, dat waren de nieuwe ontwerpen en er komen er vast meer want deze stijl blijf ik mooi vinden....mensen vragen nog steeds naar meer rozen workshops het komende jaar!
En natuurlijk zijn alle stempels te koop bij de Posthumuswinkel in Amsterdam! Leuk kerstcadeautje?

Flowers and more flowers and many layers......

Today I finally can show you the cards which has been made for the workshops ' how to build up layers' at the Posthumusshop in Amsterdam. There were more workshops and creations but I will cut the amount of creations in parts otherwise it would be a very very large blogpost........

We have been playing with the lovely sketchy flowers from Impression Obsession and many cover a card backgrounds. The participants had a lot of coloring to do....but they are used to that in the mean time in my workshops.

So here they come.......at the 1st card I've used the Darling Dahlia (H8715) and these

We did start with the large solid circle (F6940) for the background.

The sentiment is one from my heart, love that one and it's so important- C13310

We have used several shades of the Memento dye inks and coloured the Dahlia using Tombo markers and a water brush.

Vandaag kan ik jullie dan eindelijk de kaarten laten zien die ik gemaakt heb voor de workshop ' Opbouwen van lagen' bij de Posthumus winkel in Amsterdam. Er waren meer workshops maar ik heb ze opgedeeld zodat het niet een al te lange blogpost gaat worden en ik de volgende keer weer wat anders kan laten zien.

We hebben gespeeld met de mooie ' sketch' bloemen van Impression Obsession en heel veel cover a card achtergronden. Wat zijn dit toch unieke en heerlijke achtergronden om mee te werken!

De deelnemers hebben hun handen vol gehad aan het kleurwerk....maar dat zijn ze inmiddels wel gewend in mijn workshops.......

Dus hier komen ze.......bij de eerste kaart heb ik de Darling Dahlia(H8715) gebruikt en deze

For this workshop I was able to control the amount of samples(LOL).......so we had only 3 to choose from.......

Bij deze workshop kon ik me beheersen om niet al te veel voorbeelden te maken(LOL) dus hadden we er 3 om uit te kiezen.....
