3rd guest post for Chocolate Baroque

Hallo allemaal,

Vandaag mijn 3e gast blogpost voor CB en deze keer heb ik veel wit gebruikt of beter gezegd .......ik heb niet zo veel wit gevuld van het papier....en dat is moeilijk voor me LOL......
Ik hou altijd van het effect, de ruimte die het creëert en dan vraag ik me af waarom ik ze niet vaker maak.

Ik heb diverse sheets van CB gebruikt: Pretty Poppies, Fresh Blooms and Bold Blooms, Lace Fragments en de tekst van Floral Notes.

Ik heb gedrukt met witte inkt op zwart glad papier en gekleurd met kleurpotloden. Voor het kleuren op zwart papier is het zeer fijn als je goed gepigmenteerde potloden hebt.
De elementen van de Fresh en Bold blooms zijn geembosst met zwart en gekleurd met markers op waterbasis. Hierna uitgeknipt..... ik kleur ook de randen van het papier zodat je de witte kern niet meer ziet.

De mooie kant border en tekst zijn afgedrukt met zwarte Versaclair.

Today my 3rd guest designers post and this time I used a lot of white.....or better to say....I did not fill a lot of the white paper........and that is hard for me LOL.......

But I always like the effect and I wonder why I don't make that kind of cards more often. 

I have used several sheets: Pretty Poppies, Fresh Blooms and Bold Blooms, Lace Fragments and the sentiment from the Floral Notes.

I have stamped the poppies using white ink onto smooth black cardstock and colored them with color pencils. I have embossed the elements of the Fresh and Bold blooms with black and colored them with water based markers. 

Some white acrylic marker accents as usual and than decoupaged them. I always colour the edges of the decoupaged elements with a marker so you can't see the white of the paper.

The lovely lace border and text is stamped using black Versaclair.

I had a tiny colored piece left over so I made an xtra small card........using another beautiful lace border( from the Lace fragments) and the words are from the ' Words of Gratitude' sheet. The small flower is from the ' Dusky Damask' sheet. Only adding some pearls and this card was finished.......

Ik had een klein gekleurd stukje over en ben hiervan een simpel klein kaartje gemaakt......met een andere mooie kant border van de Lace fragments. De tekst is van de sheet;' Words of Gratitude'. De kleine bloem is van de ' Dusky Damask' sheet. Nog wat pareltjes om het af te maken....en klaar!

2nd guest post for Chocolate Baroque

Today my 2nd blogpost as guest designer for CB........

Today I have played with another favorite of mine(there are quit a lot LOL) from the beautiful CB stamps. I like the stylish designs of Sue, they are so elegant and crisp!

This is the Floral Notes sheet and the word is from the Artistic Expressions. In the background I have used the lovely background stamp from the Dusky Damask set.

I had this inky background in my stash for quit a while and I don't remember exactly what I did use.......I am certain that is was done using water reactive inks and a lot of water.....than some sparkly spatters but you can't see it very good on the photo's.

Vandaag mijn 2e gast post voor CB........

Vandaag heb ik gespeeld met een andere favoriet van (ik heb er veel LOL)de mooie CB stempels. Ik hou van de gestileerde en elegante designs van Sue, ze drukken prachtig en crispy af.

Dit is de Floral Notes sheet en het woord is van de Artistic Expressions. In de achtergrond zie je fragmenten van de Dusky Damask set.

Ik had deze achtergrond al een tijdje in mn voorraad dus weet niet exact meer wat ik gebruikt heb maar in ieder geval met inkten op waterbasis en veel water....nog wat sparkling accents maar dat kun je niet zo goed zien op de foto's.

I have used Memento inks to stamp the flowers. I like to stamp in colors so there are no hard outlines.

Than I have colored them using color pencils.....also one of my favorite techniques. Some beautiful music in the background and I had the house for myself so that is a bit of quality time!

Here some close-ups........hear you can see a bit of the sparkles on the left side......

Ik heb met gekleurde Memento inkten gestempeld zodat je geen harde contouren krijgt. Vind ik altijd mooi......dan het grote genieten....heerlijk kleuren met potloden.

Een mooi muziekje op de achtergrond en het huis even voor mezelf.....altijd genieten!

Hieronder nog wat close-ups.....je kunt de sparkles hier een beetje zien aan de linker kant...

1st guest design post for Chocolate Baroque 2019

Hallo allemaal,

Fijn om weer eens een gast blogpost te doen voor Chocolate Baroque. Cb zal altijd een plekje in mijn hart hebben. Zo ben ik gestart in de ' digitale' wereld met DT werk.

Ik heb gespeeld met twee van mijn favoriete sheets 'Dusky Damask' en 'Pretty Poppies. Ik heb veel gewerkt met deze sheets en ze zijn nooit gaan vervelen. Ze zijn prachtig en ook veelzijdig.

Ik heb een achtergrond met Distress inkten gemaakt, resist embossing met clear poeder en daarna blenden met Distress inkt. En daarna gestempeld met Distress inkten.

De afbeelding met de poppies is gekleurd met Distress inkten en kleurpotloden. Voor wat sterkere accenten een witte acrylmarker. Een must-have! De randen geembosst met Snowflake embossingpoeder. Natuurlijk met de Wow poeders, die zijn favoriet.

En oo ja vergeet mijn 3e favoriet natuurlijk de ' Artistic Expressions'....kan niet zonder dit sheet samen met de  Artistic Affirmations!

I am happy to be here again and do some guest posts. CB will always have a place in my heart.

I have played with two of my favorite Cb sheets, 'Dusky Damask' and 'Pretty Poppies'. I have worked a lot with these sheets and I never get bored using them. They are simply beautiful and so versatile to use.

I have made a background using Distress inks, resist embossing using clear embossing powder and plain stamping using Distress inks.

The focal image has been colored with Distress inks and colored pencils. Also some stronger accents with a white acrylic marker. One of the must-haves!

 The edge is embossed using snowflake embossing powder.

And ooh I forgot to mention my 3rd favorite sheet ' Artistic Expressions'.......can't do without that one together with the Artistic Affirmations!

Today my 3rd and last guest DT post for now. Again I have used the lovely Crafty Individuals patterned papers (weekend in Seville) and coloured on them using color pencils.

Vandaag mijn 3e en laatste gast DT post voor nu. Ik heb wederom de mooie Crafty Individuals paperpads gebruikt en gekleurd met kleurpotloden.

This time I have used the 'Bird of Joy' stamp. I stamped direct onto the patterned paper and coloured it using color pencils. After attaching it to the right front flap I decoupaged it.

When I mounted this stamp I cut of the words from the bird so I can use them separately. But it is a risky job.......

Deze keer heb ik de mooie Bird of Joy' stempel gebruikt. Direct op het dessin papier gestempeld en gekleurd met kleurpotloden. Nadat ik het bevestigd op de rechter voorkant van de kaart ook weer uitgesneden. Toen ik de stempel op easy mount plakte heb ik de tekst eraf geknipt zodat ik die apart kan gebruiken. Een riskant karweitje ......

On the left flap I stamped one of the beautiful Art deco floral corners. 

Also coloured with pencils. Than I stamped the words from the 'Words of Gratitude' and die cut it.

Op de linker voorkant heb ik de mooie Art deco floral corners gebruikt en ook weer ingekleurd. Hierna de woorden van de Words of Gratitude' gestempeld en uitgestapt.

On the inside of the card I used the full patterned paper because it has such a beautiful pattern. Only stamped the sentiment from the same sheet onto it. Such a beautiful and true sentiment.

Op de binnenkant van de kaart heb ik het volledige vel dessin papier gebruikt vanwege het mooie patroon. Alleen een tekst gestempeld van het zelfde stempelsheet. Z' on mooi en ware tekst.

Wish flower from Chocolate Baroque and a bit of Crealies

Today my second guest DT post and it was fun to play more........

This time I coloured using alcohol based  markers. And I have stamped the ' Wish flower' onto Crafty Individuals patterned paper. Than I have stamped again onto marker paper, coloured the flowers with alcohol based markers. I have decoupaged the flowers and put them on the patterned paper.

Than put it all on the front of the card and decoupaged again. The open squares are a die cut from Crealies and attached on mica sheet. 

On the inside of the card some lovely patterned paper from Crafty Individuals which I stamped on using the words from the ' Wish flower' and the ' Bird of Joy'. It was a precise job but I cut the words from the bird and the flower stamp so I could use them separately.

Vandaag mijn 2e gastdesign post voor CB en het was leuk om verder te spelen.......

Deze keer heb ik markers op alcohol basis gebruikt. En ik heb de ' Wish flower' op Crafty Individuals scrap papier gestempeld. Toen nog een keer op marker papier en gekleurd met de markers. Hierna de bloemen uitgeknipt en op het scrappapier geplakt. Het geheel op de voorzijde van de kaart geplakt en weer uitgesneden.
Hierna de mooie decorette XL stans,  nr. 12 van Crealies gestanst met het dubbelzijdig plakfolie erachter en dit op een stukje mica geplakt.

Op de binnenzijde van de kaart heb ik weer een mooi vel van het paperpad van Crafty Individuals (Weekend in Seville) gebruikt en hierop wat losse woorden gestempeld. Deze woorden heb ik los geknipt van de Wish flower bloem en de Bird of Joy'. Was ff een precies klusje maar ik wilde de woorden los kunnen gebruiken.

Chequered flowers from Chocolate Baroque

Hi there lovely people,

It's been a while.......but I am happy to write a guest design post and get the chance to play with my beautiful CB stamps!

 This time I've used the stylish Chequered flowers. I stamped on the beautiful patterned paper from Crafty Individuals. So no need to create a background this time.......

I stamped using a stamping tool. I used several soft ink colors from Memento. Than the fun starts.......colouring with coloured pencils. One of my favorite techniques.

I've added some extra dots on the upper flower and embossed the lovely leaves from the Take it or Leaf it set. Really love that one!

Than I stamped the word ' Love' from the Artistic Expressions sheet.

Het is een tijdje geleden dat ik met de mooie Chocolate Baroque stempels kon spelen. Maar nu dan toch als gast designer......Deze keer heb ik de gestileerde Chequered flowers gebruikt. Ik heb gestempeld op het mooie scrap papier van Crafty Individuals. Dus even geen uitgebreide achtergrond gemaakt.......

Ik heb gestempeld mbv. de stempeltool en diverse zachte kleuren Memento inkt. Toen begon het leukste...heerlijk kleuren met kleurpotloden. Een van mijn favoriete technieken.

Ik heb wat extra stippen toegevoegd aan de bovenste bloem en de leuke blaadjes van de Take it or Leaf it set geembosst met wit. Wat een handig setje die takjes.....

Toen het woord ' Love' gestempeld van een golden oldie Artistic Expressions.

Playing with the 4" Gelli-plate and lots of Chocolate Baroque stamps!

Just thought it must be time to write another blogpost! This time with the cards we have made during a workshop up north in Leeuwarden. We did play with the 4" round gelli-plate and Distress inks.

Although I usually use paint with the gelli-plates I like the transparant effect of the Distress inks.

We did use the lovely new stamps from Chocolate Baroque ' Kingfisher song' , 'Sticks and Stones' and 'Silhouette grasses'. The sentiments are from the sheet 'Baroque Words to dazzle and sparkle' So hope you will enjoy the inspiration........I certainly did when creating them.....

On the 1st one I worked using the Derwent Coloursoft color pencils on the Kingfisher and on the inside edge of the circle I have used the Derwent Inktense pencils and a water brush. We did use all kind of stencils and masks on the gelli-plate.( Dutch Doobadoo/Nellie Snellen)

Ik dacht dat het wel weer eens tijd werd voor een blogpost! Deze keer met de kaarten die we gemaakt hebben in het hoge noorden, Leeuwarden bij  Hobbycompleet de Duif. Wat is dat een prachtige winkel! Echt mummie zowel voor de hobbyist als de kunstenaar dus voor mij dubbelop!

We hebben gespeeld met de 4" ronde gelliplate en Distress inkten. Ondanks dat ik meestal acrylverf gebruik in combinatie met de gelli-plates vind ik de transparantie met inkt erg mooi.

We hebben de mooie nieuwe Chocolate Baroque stempels gebruikt, Kingfisher song, Sticks and Stones en de Silhouette Grasses. De teksten zijn van het nieuwe sheet 'Baroque words to dazzle and sparkle. 

Ik hoop dat je met plezier inspiratie opdoet, heb ik althans gedaan toen ik ze maakte...

Bij de eerste heb ik gewerkt met Derwent Colour soft kleurpotloden op de ijsvogel en aan de binnenzijde van de cirkel heb ik met de Derwent Inktense potloden en waterbrush gewerkt. We hebben allerlei stencils en maskers gebruikt op de gelli-plate.

On the 2nd one I did use the Derwent Inktense pencils also for the Kingfisher. The circle continues through the bird which gives a very transparant effect........the lovely Iris are from the Kingfisher song sheet too. The sentiment is from the ' Fantastic Florals' sheet which is still one of my favorites!

Bij de 2e kaart heb ik ook de Derwent Inktense potloden gebruikt op de ijsvogel. 

De cirkel loopt door de vogel wat een nog meer transparant effect geeft.....de mooie irissen zijn ook van de Kingfisher song sheet. De tekst is van de Fantastic Florals sheet, nog steeds een van m'n favorieten!

Now onto the weeds........

A mix of weeds and flowers from 3 sheets: Silhouette grasses, Wisteria Lane(hanging branch) and Fantasy meadow(flowers) I have used some Crealies stamps Bits &pieces no. 59 and 60  on the edges to give a nice finish.

Op naar de grasjes.....en andere plantjes en bloemetjes, een mix van Silhouette grasses, Wisteria Lane(hangende tak) en Fantasy meadow(bloemetje) ik heb bij diverse kaarten de Crealies stitch stempels Bits & pieces nr. 59 en 60 gebruikt aan de randen om het een leuke finish te geven.

On the next one I have used the Silhouette grasses and again the hanging branch from the Wisteria lane sheet.

You can see some shimmer accents made with the gorgeous Stampendous halo glitter mix.

Bij de volgende kaart heb ik weer de Silhouette grasses gebruikt en de hangende tak van Wisteria Lane.

Je kunt hier en daar wat glitter zien die gemaakt is met de gave Stampendous halo glitter mix.

Now onto one inspired by Delfts Blue pottery only using Silhouette grasses.

Op naar de volgende...geinspireerd op Delfts blauw aardewerk......alleen de Silhouette grasses

The next.... a more playful one....using the 'Wisteria Lane' sheet with that prickly flower

De volgende.......meer speels.......met de Wisteria Lane en die leuke sprieten bloem...

These are the beautiful flowers from the ' Fantasy meadow' sheet, all stamps from Chocolate Baroque. The die cut flower is from Crealies, set of 3 no. 23, Uno no.23 and the circles are the Decorette die no.17

Dit zijn de mooie bloemen van de Fantasy meadows sheet, allemaal stempels van Chocolate Baroque en te koop bij Hobbycompleet de Duif......klik op de link en je komt bij de betreffende producten.

De stans van de bloem is van Crealies, set van 3 nr. 23, Uno nr. 23 en de cirkels zijn een Decorette stans nr. 17.

Ornament stamps from Chocolate Baroque as dreamcatchers

Here another blogpost from me.........we did work with the beautiful ornamental stamps from Chocolate Baroque during a workshop at the Stamping Cottage at Schaik. You can find these stamps here.

I decided to transform them into dreamcatchers using several leaf stamps from the  Bold blooms/Fresh Blooms and the Tangled Garden sheet from Chocolate Baroque.

The words are from the Artistic Expressions.

And here my 3 samples....... I was inspired for the blue/red ones by the colors of a cell phone cover of a friend......The backgrounds are made using Distress inks with the acrylic bloc technique. Some gold, silver or pearl embossing for the ornaments and leaves........and coloring with a water brush and Distress inks.

It's great to use the other ornament in the background because these ornaments have also a more bold version .......

Hier weer een andere blogpost van mij.......een tijdje geleden alweer hebben we gewerkt met de mooie ornament stempels van chocolate Baroque tijdens een workshop bij de Stamping Cottage in Schaik. Je kunt alle stempels hier vinden. De Stamping Cottage heeft een enorm assortiment van Chocolate Baroque.

Ik had besloten om deze stempels een ander tintje te geven door ze als dreamcatcher te verwerken in combinatie met de mooie blad stempels van de Bold blooms en Fresh blooms en de Tangled Garden van Chocolate Baroque. Hieronder zie je de twee ornamenten; Teardrop Baroque ornament en
