More Christmas .........

First of all I want to say  a BIG THANK YOU to all of my visitors! Thanks for your kind comments, compliments and feedback, it's really appreciated! Heart-warming......

Today as promised some other Christmas creations.....with Impression Obsession and a touch of Chocolate Baroque.......

The first one is a very simple one......3 layers of the CAC background Kaleidoscope from IO and stamped with the beautiful new inks from Hero arts. Those colours are so lovely, the Royal Red is rich and warm and the Field Greens is a soft muted green, the Forever green is warm and is in between  olive and moss green shades.
The touch of Chocolate Baroque is the sentiment and comes from the 'Warm Christmas greetings' sheet.

Ten eerste wil ik zeggen; een grote DANK JE WEL aan al mijn bezoekers! Bedankt voor de leuke reacties, de complimenten en de feedback, ik waardeer het zeer! Hartverwarmend ......

Vandaag zoals beloofd nog wat andere kerst creaties......met Impression Obsession en een vleugje Chocolate Baroque......

De eerste is een zeer simpele kaart.......3 lagen van de CAC achtergrond 'Kaleidoscope' van IO  en gestempeld met de mooie nieuwe inkten van Hero arts. Deze kleuren zijn zo mooi, de Royal Red is rijk en warm van kleur en de Field Greens is een zachte gepoederde groen tint, de Forever green is warm en zit een beetje tussen olijf en mos tinten.
De vleug Chocolate Baroque is de tekst die weer komt van de 'Warm Christmas Greetings' sheet.

The 2nd one is made with a similar colour combo but another background CAC 'Damask' from IO. Over stamped and embossed with the CAC Spatter with WOW Red sparkle EP. The paisleys(IO) are embossed with white twinkle on red Basic Grey paper. The sentiment again 'Warm Christmas Greetings' from CB.

De tweede is gemaakt met ongeveer dezelfde kleuren combi maar een andere CAC achtergrond 'Damask' van IO. Er overheen gestempeld en geembosst met de CAC Spatter en WOW Red sparkle EP. De paisleys (IO) zijn geembosst met WOW white and white twinkle op rood Basic Grey papier.
De tekst is weer van de 'Warm Christmas greetings'.

And the last one with a very neglected tree stamp from IO, the Paisley tree from Leigh Hannan, a beautiful tree. I've decoupaged the tree because it was the first idea I got when I saw the stamp for the first time.....I've stamped on kraftpaper and used the Versafine Olympic green ink. Gave some accents with a white pencil and used WOW white puff EP on the edges. On the background the CAC 'Whispy' from IO.

En de laatste met een zeer verwaarloosde boom stempel van IO, de Paisley tree door Leigh Hannan, een prachtige boom. Ik heb 'm in diverse lagen verwerkt omdat het eerste idee was dat ik kreeg toen ik deze boom voor het eerst zag........Gestempeld op kraft papier en ik heb hier Versafine Olympic green gebruikt. Wat accenten met een wit potlood en fineliner en aan de rand WOW witte puff EP gebruikt wat een leuk sneeuw effect geeft. Op de achtergrond de CAC 'Whispy' van IO.

Christmas creation with Chocolate Baroque and Impression Obsession

Today some other Christmas creations ........ Chocolate Baroque and Impression Obsession....
The first one is made only with CB stamps and not Christmas stamps but the beautiful motives from the 'Dusky Damask'. 
So you can work with non Christmas stamps to create Christmas cards! I've used two shades of green Memento inks together. The sentiment is from the 'Warm Christmas greetings'.

Vandaag wat andere kerst creaties........Chocolate Baroque en Impression Obsession......
De eerste is gemaakt alleen met de CB stempels, geen kerststempels maar de mooie motieven van de 'Dusky Damask'. 
Je kunt dus werken met NIET-kerststempels om kerstkaarten te maken! Ik heb twee tinten groen gebruikt van de Memento inkten. De tekst is van 'Warm Christmas greetings'.(CB)

The second one has far from traditional Christmas colours.....yellow, gold and black..........

De tweede heeft verre van traditionele kerstkleuren....geel, goud en zwart........

Here I've used for the background the CAC from Impression Obsession 'Damask'. The poinsettia is from the clear stamp sheet 'Joyful Christmas' and the lovely swirl is from the 'Butterfly dreams'sheet from Chocolate Baroque. The quote again from the 'Warm Christmas greetings'.

Hier he ik de achtergrond gebruikt van Impression Obsession CAC Damask. De kerstroos is van de clear stempel sheet  'Joyful Christmas' en de mooie swirl is van de 'Butterfly dreams' sheet van Chocolate Baroque. De tekst weer van de  'Warm Christmas greetings'.

Chocolate Baroque and Impression Obsession come together in colourful Christmas creations

Here are some of the Christmas creations which I've made with Chocolate Baroque and Impression Obsession, I think a great combination ........only that Fall blog background is not the most matching........as a perfectionist I would have liked to change that for one post but then again I thought........let it go....

I've been working with the WOW bonding powder and the Fab foil which is available in several colours. I've worked here with silver foil. I've used two Cover a Card backgrounds here; reverse Damask and the Spatter from Impression Obsession which I've embossed with WOW silver sparkle. The bauble is from the 'Pears and Baubles sheet from Chocolate Baroque. The quote is from the clear sheet 'Warm Christmas greetings'(CB)

Hier wat Kerst creaties die ik gemaakt heb met Chocolate Baroque en Impression Obsession, een geweldige combi met elkaar denk ik.........

Ik heb gewerkt met de Wow bonding poeder en de Fab foil die verkrijgbaar is in verschillende kleuren. Hier heb ik zilver gebruikt. Ik heb twee cover a cards achtergronden gebruikt; reverse Damask en de Spatter van Impression Obsession. De kerstbal is van de 'Pears and Baubles sheet van Chocolate Baroque. Al deze materialen zijn te koop bij de Posthumuswinkel in Amsterdam!

And the 2nd one.......... made with one of the pears of the Pears and Baubles sheet from CB, also with the fab foil. I've stamped also the mistletoe above the pear and added some pearls. On the background I've used the CAC Pine branches and the Splatter embossed with WOW green glitz. That spatter is very versatile to use.... the Christmas quote is also from the same clearsheet from CB.

En de 2e........gemaakt met een van de peren van de  Pears and Baubles sheet van CB, ook weer met de Fab foil van WOW. Ik heb de maretak boven de peer erbij gezet en wat parels toegevoegd. op de achtergrond heb ik de IO CAC's Pine branches en Spatter gebruikt die weer geembosst is met WOW green glitz. De spatter achtergrond is een veelzijdige achtergrond die ik veel gebruik.......de tekst is weer van het clearsetje van CB.

At the 3rd card I've used the WOW Puff emoss.powder, great stuff that creates such a lovely layer. The background is made with the IO CAC Damask and the baubles are from the Morris baubles from CB, they are embossed with WOW Brass, a great warm gold tone.The Christmas sentiment also from the 'Warm Christmas greetings'(CB)' I've coloured with the Tombo markers and for the bow I've used the Bowdabra for the first time, great tool!

Bij de 3e kaart heb ik WOW puff emboss.poeder gebruikt wat z'on heerlijk dik laagje geeft. De achtergrond is de CAC Damask van IO en de kerstballen zijn de Morris baubles van CB, ze zijn geembosst met WOW Brass, een mooie warme goudkleur. Ingekleurd met de Tombo markers en voor de strik heb ik voor het eerst de Bowdabra gebruikt, geweldig apparaat! (ook te koop bij 't Hobbyschuurke in Ridderkerk)

With this card I am also joining the Pan Pastel challenge with the theme 'Frosty and Bright'!

When Chocolate Baroque meets Impression Obsession.........wanneer Chocolate Baroque- Impression Obsession ontmoet.......

Today I'll show you some results of what happens when Chocolate Baroque meets Impression Obsession! They have both beautiful stamps and the stamps of Chocolate Baroque really looks great on the Cover a Card backgrounds of Impression Obsession. These pictures will show you the different styles with one stamp sheet of CB, 'the Morris baubles' and the Cove a card 'kaleidoscope and swirl lace' of Impression Obsession. Also made a positive and negative background of a cover a card using the solid background of IO.(also for sale at the Posthumus shop in Amsterdam)
And here they are.........I've used almost the same lay-out every time, stamping the Baubles in a circle and using some Nestie elements.
The first one has been stamped with plain black using the Morris Baubles of CB and coloured with the Tombo markers(waterbased), the Kaleidoscoop background of IO is stamped with black and partially coloured with the Tombo's. Using this background I made a negative one by using the Solid background. I inked the solid one with black gave it a 'KISS' with a clean(not inked) kaleidoscoop background and the 2nd card was the result.....

Vandaag laat ik jullie wat zien van wat er gebeurt als Chocolate Baroque Impression Obsession 'ontmoet'! Ze hebben allebei zulke mooie stempels en de stempels van CB passen zo mooi bij de grote achtergronden van IO. De foto's laten de verschillende stijlen zien gemaakt met 1 stempelsheet van CB, 'the Morris baubles'
en de achtergrond van IO, 'Kaleidoscope en Swirl Lace' . (te koop bij de Posthumus winkel te Amsterdam)
En hier zijn ze.........Ik heb ongeveer steeds dezelfde lay-out gebruikt, de Morris baubles uitgesneden met een cirkel mal en wat Nestab. elementen.
Bij de eerste zijn de Morris baubles gestempeld met zwart en gekleurd met de Tombo markers.(waterbasis) De Kaleidoscoop achtergrond van IO ook met zwart en gedeeltelijk gekleurd met Tombo's. Terwijl ik deze achtergrond stempelde heb ik er ook een negatief van gemaakt door de Solid background 
te gebruiken. Ik heb de Solid beinkt met zwart en een 'KUS' (kissing techniek) gegeven met een onbeinkte Kaleidoscoop achtergrond en de 2e kaart was het resultaat.......

Negative background....... and silver WOW embossing on the main image.......I've made a sympathy card of this using a sentiment from 'with Sympathy' a beautiful sheet if you like those beautiful cross images ......

Negatieve achtergrond........en zilver WOW emboss.poeder op de voorgrond stempel......Ik heb er een condeolance kaart van gemaakt met de tekst van 'with Sympathy' 
een prachtig sheet als je van mooie kruis afbeeldingen houdt ..........

The 3rd one is in a different colour combi and use of different backgrounds. I've used the IO canvas background and partially the damask background. I've embossed the Morris baubles with gold WOW emboss.powder.

De derde is in een andere kleuren combi en andere achtergronden. Ik heb hier de IO 'Canvas' en een gedeelte van de 'Damask' gebruikt. De 'baubles'zijn geembosst met WOW goud emboss. poeder.

And at last the 4th one......here I 've used the same baubles embossed with WOW platinum which gives an 'old' look. The cover a card background is the Swirl Lace from IO and embossed with WOW Vanilla on black paper. 
En tot slot de 4e.......hier heb ik dezelfde 'baubles' geembosst met WOW platina wat een mooi 'oud' effect geeft. De IO achtergrond is de Swirl Lace en geembosst met WOW Vanille op zwart papier.
