Colourful, stamping, texture and favorite brand of stamps

Today I will show you some of the other cards which we have made during the workshops at the Stamping Cottage in Schaik.

Vandaag laat ik jullie de andere kaarten zien die ter inspiratie dienden op de workshops bij de Stamping Cottage.

This card has been made using watercolor paper(Oud Hollands)
Sentiment and script are from Impression Obsession

Deze kaart is gemaakt op Oud-Hollands papier, een mooie kwaliteit en zeer geschikt voor aquareltechnieken.

The next card is made using a stencil and Nuance pigment powders and you can see the positive and negative print as well...... The stamps are from the Chocolate Baroque sheet ' Diamant Delights' and I have embossed coloured and decoupaged the elements. The word is from the Artistic Expressions sheet from CB.

De volgende kaart is gemaakt met een stencil en Nuance pigment poeders. Zowel de positieve als negatieve print zie je hier........De stempels zijn van het Chocolate Baroque sheet ' Diamant Delights' en hierbij heb ik de elementen geembosst en gekleurd en uitgeknipt. Het woord is van de Artistic Expressions sheet van CB.

The next cards are made using canvas paper and a large beautiful ornamental stamp from the Art Specially stamps which are being sold at the Stamping Cottage.

Working on canvas paper which I like very much....it creates a painted structure.......

De volgende kaarten zijn gemaakt op het mooie canvas papier met de grote ornament stempel van Art Specially. De Art Specially stempels worden verkocht bij de  Stamping Cottage.
Ik vind het werken op het canvas papier erg mooi, het creëert een ' geschilderd' effect.

This lovely stylized tulip is also an Art Specially stamp, still love this one!

and the ornament........

On the next two cards I have used texture medium( light molding paste) from Liquitex and some stencils. Stamps from Magenta....and sentiments from Impression Obsession. Backgrounds are made using fluid inks and pigment powders. The shimmer you see is made using the same stencils and perfect pearls.

Bij de volgende twee kaarten heb ik textuur medium gebruikt, de Light molding paste van Liquitex mbv. wat stencils. Stempels van Magenta....en teksten van Impression Obsession. Achtergronden zijn gemaakt met vloeibare inkten en/of pigment poeders. De mooie shimmer is gemaakt mbv de stencils en perfect pearls.

The next card is a combination of Magenta and Chocolate Baroque stamps. The fiery background has been made using the beautiful Nuance pigment powders, my favorites!

The sentiment is from Impression Obsession.

De volgende kaart is een combi van Magenta en Chocolate Baroque stempels. De vurige achtergrond is gemaakt met de mooie Nuance pigment poeders van Magenta, mijn favorieten!

De tekst is van Impression Obsession.

It's cold outside and great weather to pick up your paints, inks and all that you can use to CREATE!!

As promised I want to show you the last batch of cards which the participants could choose from at the workshop at the Stamping Cottage.

We worked on the beautiful canvas paper which is still one of my favorites........you can really get a painted effect. Again using the fluid inks and I made different color combinations.

Here is the pastel one.....I have used the Crackling Rose from Chocolate Baroque and on the background you can see the large ornament and the small ornament from the Art Specially stamps collection.(small version can also be ordered but has no link yet on the website)

Het is koud buiten en precies het goede weer om je kleurtjes, verf etc. tevoorschijn te halen en iets te  gaan creëren!
Zoals beloofd laat ik jullie de laatste kaarten zien waaruit de deelnemers konden kiezen tijdens de workshop bij de Stamping Cottage.

We hebben gewerkt op het mooie canvaspapier, nog steeds een van m'n favorieten......je krijgt echt een schilderachtig effect. En weer de vloeibare inkten gebruikt in diverse kleurencombinaties.

Hieronder eerst de pastelversie.......Ik heb hier de Crackling Rose van CB gebruikt en op de achtergronden zie je overal het grote en kleine ornament van de nieuwe Art Specially stempels. (kleine versie kan ook besteld worden maar heeft nog geen link op de website)
Ook de druppels zijn te koop bij de Stamping Cottage.

And than a very sunny version with the Sunflower from Sheena Douglas

and one of the favorites was.........also earth tones and using only Art Specially stamps

dit was toch wel de favoriet van de meeste mensen.....aardekleuren en alleen de Art Specially stempels.....

Workshop at the Stamping Cottage......

Hi there,

Finally a post again showing you the cards which I had made for two days of workshops at the Stamping Cottage in Schaik. We had two great days with a lot of enthusiastic people.

 I mainly used Chocolate Baroque stamps in combination with some stamps especially made for the Art Specially event in Nijkerk where I recently have been.

I was in the mood for some vibrant Indian colors......and had a play with one of my favorite sheets, the Indian Textiles..........I had made two samples and they are a bit different....on the 2nd one I had stamped the mosque using Versamark and Pan Pastels gold and the one below is stamped using ink.....I also used the beautiful flowers from the Diamant Delights, embossed them with  gold and coloured them using water based markers. As an extra accent using some ultrafine glitters.......Also done some coloring using color pencils on the background.

The background was done using fluid Inks, this time we used the Aquatints from Crafters Companion, a bit similar to Ecoline or Shadow painting inks.......they are all water based inks.

Eindelijk weer eens een blogpost en kan ik jullie het eerste gedeelte van de kaarten laten zien die ik maakte voor twee workshop dagen bij de Stamping Cottage in Schaik. We hebben twee heerlijke dagen gehad met veel enthousiaste mensen.

Ik heb hier hoofdzakelijk Chocolate Baroque stempels gebruikt en wat gecombineerd met sommige stempels die speciaal waren ontworpen voor het Art Specially event in Nijkerk waar ik pas geweest ben.

Ik was in de stemming voor mooie levendige India kleuren.......en heb gespeeld met een van mijn favoriete sheets, de Indian Textiles......Ik had twee voorbeelden gemaakt, een klein beetje verschillend......bij de 2e is de moskee gestempeld met Versamark en met Pan Pastel goud bewerkt. Het voorbeeld hieronder is dan gestempeld met inkt. 

Ik heb ook de mooie bloemen van het sheet Diamant Delights gebruikt, geembosst met goud en gekleurd met markers op waterbasis. Als extra accent wat losse fijne glitter......

Ook het nodige inkleuren op de achtergrond met kleurpotloden.......

De achtergrond is gemaakt met vloeibare inkten, in dit geval de Aquatints van Crafters Companion, een inkt zoals ecoline of shadowpaint inkten, allemaal waterbasis inkten.

Here you can see the lovely glow of the golden Pan Pastel....
