Celtic Stars and Open Flowers, designs by Ryn and Crealies...

Hello there,

Today I want to show you some creations with the lovely stamps of designs by Ryn. I am also proud to say that I am now officially a member of her design team together with my teamies Shirley Deatcher and Eileen Godwin, both talented ladies. Just take a look at their blogs!
I had a play with the beautiful handdrawn Celtic Stars of Ryn. they are so crisp and beautiful! I combined them with the open flowers and doily elements of Crealies.
Here's my first one........a Christmas one.....

Hallo allemaal,

Vandaag wil ik jullie een paar creaties laten zien met de mooie stempels van  designs by Ryn. Ik ben er trots op om te kunnen zeggen dat ik nu officieel een designteamlid ben samen met mijn teamies Shirley Deatcher and Eileen Godwin, allebei getalenteerde dames. Neem eens een kijkje op hun blog, sommigen van jullie doen dat natuurlijk al!
Ik heb gespelld met de prachtige handgetekende Keltische sterren van Ryn, ze zijn zo scherp en mooi! Ik heb ze gecombineerd met de Open flowers en doily elementen van Crealies.
Hier is de eerste......een Kerst creatie....

I've made the background with the resist technique, embossed some stars of the Celtic star set with white EP and sponged with pigment inks, then stamped some stars with green and red. The main image, Celtic Star 3 is also embossed with white and sponged with red and green. The thin lines of the star are coloured with pencils. Some little gemstones finished it and behind the circle I've added the doily elements no. 8 from Crealies.

Ik heb de achtergrond gemaakt met de resist techniek, waarbij sommige sterren van the Celtic star set met witte EP zijn geembosst en gesponst met pigment inkten. Daarna nog wat sterren met rood en groen gestempeld. De grote afbeelding,  Celtic Star 3 is ook geembosst met wit en gesponst met rood en groen.De dunne lijnen van de ster zijn ingekleurd met kleurpotloden. Nog wat kleine schittersteentjes en achter de cirkel zie je de doily elements no. 8 van Crealies.

The 2nd one is made with a totally different colour scheme.......
De tweede is gemaakt met een totaal ander kleur schema........

The same technique for the background only another lay-out. I've used the Creative flower no.17 which I've over stamped with one of the Celtic stars from the set. I've coloured them with Pan Pastels.  The large Celtic Star is no.1 and also embossed with white but filled with a gluepen and fine glitter. Behind the stamped flowers I've added the Crealies open flower no.3. I think it looks like a sort of snowflake.......

Dezelfde techniek voor de achtergrond alleen een andere lay-out. Ik heb hier de Creative flower no.17 gebruikt die ik ook bestempeld heb met een van de kleine sterren. Ik heb ze gekleurd met de Pan Pastels. De  large Celtic Star is no.1 en ook geembosst met wit maar gevuld met een lijmpen en fijne glitter. Achter de gestempelde bloemen heb ik de Crealies open flower no.3 gebruikt. Ik vind het wel een soort sneeuwvlok......

And the final one ........in green and purple one of my favorite colour combo's, I've used the Crealies open flower no.4 here to create a 3-dimensional ornament....will also create this for another work in Christmas sphere....I've used Memento inks for the little stars and the main image is made with the same technique as the others. Behind the oval I've used a Crealies Open flower no.2  which I've cut in two.

En tot slot de laatste creatie......in groen en paars, een van mijn favoriete kleur combi's. Ik heb hier de Crealies open flower no.4 gebruikt om een 3 dimensionaal ornamentje te maken......ik ga dit ook gebruiken voor een ander kerst werkje.........Ik heb Memento inkten gebruikt voor de achtergrond en de grote ster is weer met dezelfde techniek gemaakt als de vorigen. Achter het ovaal heb ik Crealies Open flower no.2 gebruikt ,die in tweeën geknipt is.

two more lovely 'tangled gardens'.......

Hi there,

Two more 'Tangled garden' creations, wow I love this set! The first one is made with WOW silver emboss.powder and the second one with WOW brass. On the first I draw some wavy lines with the embossing marker and embossed with silver. I masked the leaves and stamped some ares with them. The leaves on the background are coloured with pencils, the ares in between and the butterfly with Tombo markers. Text is from the clear set 'Joyful Christmas'.

Nog twee 'Tangled garden'  creaties, wow ik ben gek op deze set! De eerste is gemaakt met WOW zilver emboss.poeder en de tweede met WOW brass. Bij de eerste heb ik wat golvende lijnen getrokken met de embossing marker en geembosst met zilver. Ik heb de bladeren gemaskerd en gestempeld in sommige gedeelten. Ze zijn gekleurd met kleurpotloden en de gedeelten ertussen en de vlinder met de Tombootjes..... Tekst is van de clear sheet 'Joyful Christmas'.

And here is the 2nd one, in the same colours..........and although they are not Christmas stamps, they would do great with a Christmas sentiment in these colours, don't you think?

En hier de tweede, in dezelfde kleuren.......en ook al zijn het geen kerststempels, ze zouden het best mooi doen met een kerstekst in deze kleuren, denk je niet?

Tangled Garden in yellow and greens.......

Hello there,

Today a Tangled Garden(Chocolate Baroque) creation using WOW Platinum regular and sparkle, that's such a special warm colour.....between gold and silver. I've coloured the butterflies with waterbased markers and the background with Derwent soft colour. It's great to play with these stamps........the quote is from the Butterfly dreams sheet from Chocolate Baroque.

Vandaag een 'Tangled Garden' (Chocolate Baroque) creatie met de WOW platinum regular en sparkle emboss.poeder, dat is toch z'on speciale kleur, warm....tussen goud en zilver in. Ik heb de vlinders gekleurd met Tombo markers en de achtergrond gekleurd met Derwent soft Colour. Ze zijn zo heerlijk om mee te spelen deze stempels......de tekst is van de 'Butterfly Dreams, sheet van CB. Deze stempelsheet is ook bij Posthumus in Amsterdam te koop, waar de kaart ook 'live' te zien is.

More Autumn with Pan Pastels.....

Still got some creations to show from the Pan Pastel demo and here they are! First two with the Autumn theme and one with bright vibrant colours!
Also again with use of the Belleek technique and M-bossability folder with Distress ink Tea Dye. The frame is a Spellbinder one and the branches are all Memorybox. The flower is a Crealies creative flower no.9. I am also joining with this card at the Pan Pastel challenge of this week: 'make an embelishment'

Heb nog steeds wat creaties te laten zien van de Pan Pastel demo en hier zijn ze dan! De eerste twee met het herfst thema en de eentje met heldere en felle kleuren!
Heb hier ook weer de Belleek techniek gebruikt en de M-bossability mal met Distress inkt Tea Dye. Het frame is een Spellbinder mal en de takjes zijn allemaal van Memorybox. De bloem is de  Crealies creative flower no.9. Met deze kaart doe ik mee met the Pan Pastel challenge of this week: 'make an embelishment'.

Gemaakt met de Memory Box mallen (boom en blaadjes) een M-bossability mal van Spellbinders en een Memory Box stempel, alles met Pan Pastel bewerkt. Zulk geweldig spul!

And the bright vibrant one.........made with a Spellbinder frame and Crealies flower no. 21 and creative shapes no. 16. The stamps are from Viva Decor. I worked on white linen structured paper and coloured everything with Pan Pastels.

En de heldere felle kleuren........gemaakt met een Spellbinder frame en Crealies flower no. 21 en 

creative shapes no. 16.  De stempels zijn van Viva Decor. Ik heb ook weer gewerkt op wit papier met linnen structuur en alles gekleurd met de 'pannetjes'.

Lots of Crealies flowers and Pan Pastel......

Today some more creations which I've made for the demo with the Pan Pastels. I've used a lot of Crealies flowers and shapes and Spellbinder frame dies and M bossabilitie folders. I've used the Belleek technique again and this time with Tumbled Glass Distress ink. I've used Creative flower no.18 and the lovely creative shape no.24. Also Spellbinder Decorative frame label 1 and M Bossabilitie Framed Labels1. All elements have been coloured with Pan Pastels in purple and turquoise shades.

Hallo allemaal,

Vandaag nog wat creaties die ik had gemaakt voor de demo met de Pan Pastels. ik heb een heleboel Crealies bloemen en shapes gebruikt en Spellbinder frames en emboss folders. Weer heb ik de Belleek techniek gebruikt en deze keer met Tumbled Glass distressinkt. Ik heb Creative flower no.18 en de leuke
creative shape no.24 gebruikt. Ook de Spellbinder Decoriative frame label 1 en de M boss folder Framed Labels 1. Alle elementen zijn gekleurd met de Pan Pastels in paars en turquoise tinten.

The second card has been made with different shades of purple and magenta shades. I've used the Belleek technique on purple paper using Dusty Concord Distress Ink. This is the M bossabilitie folder Paisley. All these folders have two sides so two patterns to use and they are larger than the most emboss folders. The Creative flower here is no. 2 and I've used creative shapes no. 24 . I've used also the Floral Oval frame from Spellbinders and a frame stamp from Viva Decor which I've coloured with the Pan's. The white flower is made of tissue paper.

De tweede kaart is gemaakt met diverse paarstinten. Ik heb de Belleek techniek gebruikt op paars papier met Dusty Concord Distress inkt. Dit is de M bossabilitie folder Paisley. Al deze emboss mallen hebben twee kanten dus twee verschillende patronen en zijn groter dan de meeste emboss mallen. De Creative flower is no. 2  en weer creative shapes no. 24 . Ik heb ook Floral Oval frame gebruikt van Spellbinders en een frame stempel van Viva Decor die ik gekleurd heb met de 'Pannetjes'. De witte bloem is gemaakt van tissuepapier.

I've been playing again with the Pan Pastels and also with the Halloween sheet 'Witches brew'.

Vandaag de introductie van een nieuwe clear sheet 'Terrific Treescapes'. Ze zijn prachtig en veelzijdig  in gebruik. Het design team zal binnenkort laten zien hoe veelzijdig!Ze hebben weer prachtig artwork gemaakt, dus hou het DT blog in het oog en hun eigen blogs!

Ik heb weer heerlijk met de 'Pannetjes' gespeeld en ook met de Halloween sheet 'Witches brew'.

on the card  below I worked on paper with a linen structure, that gives a beautiful result!Also used here the beautiful swirl from the 'Butterfly Dreams' sheet.

op deze kaart heb ik gewerkt op papier met linnen structuur wat een heel mooi resultaat geeft. Ook heb ik hier de mooie swirl van de 'Butterfly Dreams' sheet gebruikt.

New stamps Chocolate Baroque!

Hi there,

Some of you has probably seen it yet on the CB website but today Glenda, owner of Chocolate Baroque has launched a really fabulous sheet called 'Tangled Garden'! You can see some great examples on the website next to the sheet, made by Lesley. It's great for 'tangling' but also for colouring and plain stamping, can you see the possibilities already? This is really a must-have I think!

Soon I will be posting more examples and of course my talented teamies will also show their creations, so keep an eye on their blogs and the DT blog!

I've made a 'waterfall'card  with it.......here it is. Always thought it was a very difficult card but it isn't, when you finally know how to make it LOL.....

Sommigen van jullie hebben het misschien al gezien op de CB website maar vandaag heeft Glenda, de eigenaresse van Chocolate Baroque een waanzinnig mooi nieuw sheet geintroduceerd genaamd 'Tangled Garden'! Op de website kun je al wat mooie voorbeelden zien naast het sheet, gemaakt door Lesley. Het is ook geweldig voor 'tangelen' maar ook voor inkleuren en gewoon stempelen, kun je de mogelijkheden al zien? Dit is echt een must-have, vind ik!

Ik heb er een waterval kaart mee gemaakt, m'n eerste......dacht altijd dat die heel moeilijk waren maar het valt reuze mee.......als je het eenmaal weet LOL
