Eastern landscapes from Chocolate Baroque- oosterse landschapjes van Chocolate Baroque

As promised I will show you today my creations with the Eastern landscapes from Chocolate Baroque. They are great to make scenery's and just for a quick and simple card in combination with scrap paper!
Here is the first one; I've used the Prima paper 'Firefly' a gorgeous paperpack with vibrant colours. Only a little sponging created the hills. Stamped the pagoda's and text from the Eastern Landscape sheet , the mimosa branch and waterlily from the 'Lilypad sheet'. I've added some pencil colouring and a pearl pen.

Zoals beloofd laat ik vandaag mijn creaties met de Eastern landscapes from Chocolate Baroque. Ze zijn geweldig om landschapjes mee te maken en ook voor een simpele en snelle kaart in combinatie met mooi scrap papier.
Hier is de eerste; ik heb hier de Prima paper 'Firefly' gebruikt, een prachtig scrapblokje met levendige kleuren. Alleen wat sponswerk om de heuvels te maken. De pagodes en de tekst zijn van de Eastern Landscapes, de mimosa tak en waterlelie zijn van de Lilypad sheet'. Ik heb nog wat potlood accenten aangebracht en wat parelpen.

The 2nd one is sponged in a circle and also used the crafters template 'Bamboo' in and outside the circle. The quote is from the Words of Inspiration, like all the Word series stamps a promo offer this week. They are also great to make a simple and quick card only using a quote.

De tweede is gesponst is een cirkel en ook de Crafters mal 'Bamboo'gebruikt in en buiten de cirkel. De tekst is van de Words of Inspiration, net zoals alle  Word series stamps een aanbieding deze week. Ze zijn ook geweldig voor een simpele en snelle kaart met alleen een tekst.

The 3rd one is made with much more vibrant colours. I've had this background piece already waiting in my stash. I've used the lovely Grafik 45 papers with it (Birdsong) Simple black stamping and adding accents with colour pencils.

De derde is gemaakt met veel fellere kleuren. Ik had dit achtergrondje nog liggen in m'n voorraad. Ik heb hier het mooie Grafik 45 scrap papier gebruikt(Birdsong) Eenvoudig zwart stempelen en wat accenten met kleurpotlood. Een snelle kaart dus.

The 4th and last one is my favorite I think.... also this background was made some time ago.....when I am creating backgrounds I always create a lot of them and keep them waiting for the right moment/stamp to come by..... I did some masking on the rocks to create a rocky landscape and stamped the pagoda with a soft colour to create a kind of mist.... the mimosa branches are again from a clear sheet 'Oriental crane'

Already there were the Texture fragments( embossed with Wow white Twinkle) and the word 'Beauty' from the Artistic Expressions.

De laatste en wel m'n favoriet denk ik......ook deze achtergrond had ik nog liggen....wanneer ik achtergronden maak, maak ik er gelijk een heleboel en laat ze vaak liggen tot het juiste moment/stempel voorbij komt.... Ik heb wat gemaskerd bij de rotspartijen en de pagode gestempeld met een zachte kleur om het effect van mist te krijgen.......de mimosa takken zijn van de clear sheet 'Oriental crane'.

De Texture fragments (geembosst met Wow White twinkle) en het woord 'Beauty van de Artistic Expressions stonden al op deze achtergrond.

First of all, best wishes for 2013 and hope you will encounter good health,love, inspiration and much creativity!
The title of this message has to do with the new stamp images of Chocolate Baroque and with putting your heart into the new year! We should all more use our hearts instead of our heads.......a teacher told me once 'the longest journey is the one from your head to your heart'. 
On the blog of Quinn there was the suggestion to get one word for the new year and not a whole bunch of good intentions. One word can be even of more powerful!  So I hope to challenge you to get that word and share it with me and others.........You can feel the word coming up inside you when you take the time......from your heart instead of your head.......

These cards are made with one of the new clear stamps from Chocolate Baroque ' Elegant Baroque heart'. There is also the 'Baroque Poppy heart' the 'Baroque Thistle heart' and the 'Baroque Fuchsia heart'. They are gorgeous and perfect in quality! You can see all kind of beautiful creations on the CB DT blog and also on the blogs of those talented DT ladies!

Ten eerste, het allerbeste voor 2013 en ik wens jullie , gezondheid, liefde, inspiratie en veel creativiteit! De titel van dit bericht heeft te maken met de nieuwe stempels van Chocolate Baroque en met het leggen van je hart in het nieuwe jaar! We zouden allemaal meer ons hart in plaats van ons verstand/hoofd moeten gebruiken.......een leraar zei me eens 'de langste reis is die van je hoofd naar je hart'!
op het blog van Quinn werd voorgesteld om een woord voor het nieuwe jaar te nemen in plaats van een heleboel goede voornemens. Een woord kan zelfs krachtiger zijn! Dus misschien mag ik je uitdagen om dat woord te nemen en het te delen met me en anderen.....je kunt het woord voelen van binnen als je daar de tijd even voor neemt, vanuit je hart en niet je hoofd......

Deze kaarten zijn gemaakt met een van de nieuwe clear stempels van Chocolate Baroque 'Elegant Baroque heart'. Er is ook een 'Baroque Poppy heart' het 'Baroque Thistle heart' and de 'Baroque Fuchsia heart'.
Ze zijn prachtig en perfect van kwaliteit! Je kunt er allerlei mooi creaties mee zien op het DT blog en op de blogs van de talentvolle teamleden. (zie links DT leden aan de zijkant)

At the 1st one I've used some lovely Prima Papers(Firefly) and stamped the heart with different Memento inks. The text is from the Artistic Expressions sheet and the swirl in the left corner is from the 'Butterfly dreams' a large corner swirl  which I use very often. I don't use scrap papers very often but this is such a perfect one for the heart, so I could not resist it.

The 2nd one is a Christmas one, so maybe for next year Christmas...... but you can see how versatile you can use it, great for a wedding but also for a inspirational card, Valentine or for encouragement.... The background has been made using a M-bossabilties folder from Spellbinders and sponged afterwards. The heart is stamped with Versafine and partially coloured with pencils. Just added some red gemstones and the quote is from the 'warm Christmas greetings'.

Bij de eerste kaart heb ik het mooie Prima scrappapier (Firefly) gebruikt en het hart gestempeld met verschillende tinten Memento inkt. De tekst is van de Artistic Expressions  sheet en de swirl in de linker hoek is van de 'Butterfly dreams een grote hoek swirl die ik vaak gebruik. Ik gebruik niet vaak scrap papier maar deze paste perfect bij het hart, kon het niet weerstaan. Net zoals ik steeds weer zeg, ik koop geen papier meer, maar zwicht dan toch weer.....herkenbaar???

De tweede is een Kerst hart geworden, dus misschien voor volgende Kerst.......maar hiermee kun je zien hoe veelzijdig de harten zijn, mooi voor een bruiloft, Valentijn, inspiratie of bemoedigings thema...... De achtergrond is gemaakt met een M-bossabilities mal van Spellbinders(hier te koop) and daarna gesponst. Het hart is gestempeld met Versafine en gedeeltelijk gekleurd met kleurpotloden. Nog wat rode glimmertjes erbij.....en de tekst is van de 'warm Christmas greetings'.

Workshop Pan Pastels & Belleek technique

Today I want to show you the cards I did a workshop with.......at a craftshop from a friend......it was fun!
The backgrounds are all created with the belleek technique and M-bossabilitie folders from Spellbinders in combination with Distress inks. On the first I've used Bundled Sage for the background and Pan Pastels Chromium Dioxyde green in three variations- tint-colour-shade. Different kind of dies like the Crealies flowers and shapes-Marianne design-Spellbinders oval - Memory box leaves

Vandaag wil ik jullie de kaarten laten zien waarmee ik een workshop gegeven heb........in 't Hobbyschuurke in Ridderkerk....het was leuk! De mensen waren enthousiast en het smaakt naar meer denk ik.....alle kaarten zijn anders geworden ondanks dat men werkt van een voorbeeld.....de een wat donkerder en soms een beetje andere lay-out, dat is leuk een beetje je eigen ding er in leggen!
Ze zijn allemaal gemaakt met de Belleek techniek op de achtergrond en gebruik van M-bossabilitie mallen van Spellbinders in combinatie met Distress inkten.
Bij de eerste heb ik Bundled Sage gebruikt en Pan Pastels Chroom Dioxyde groen in de Tint/Colour/ Shade. Diverse mallen zoals de Crealies bloemen en shapes, Marianne design, Spellb. ovaal en Memory Box blaadjes. Natuurlijk allemaal ook te koop bij deze winkel.

De tweede is met Dusty Concord op de achtergrond en de PP's ; Violet tint/kleur/shade gemaakt en dezelfde mallen , alleen hier nog een swirl van de Memory Box bij gebruikt.

The 3rd one with Tea Dye on the background and PP's : Ochre tint-colour and Orange shade

De derde is met Tea Dye en de PP's ; Oker tint/kleur en Oranje shade gemaakt

The 4th and last one : Victorian Velvet on the background and PP's : Magenta tint and shade, Burnt Sienna tint for a bit of mixing to get the proper colour to match the Victorian Velvet.

De vierde en laatste is gemaakt met Victorian Velvet en de PP's; Magenta tint en shade en wat Burnt Sienna tint om te mixen zodat de kleur mooi paste bij de Victorian Velvet achtergrond.

Vind je het leuk om hiermee een workshop te volgen of een eventuele vervolg workshop waarmee je achtergronden met de Pan Pastels gaat maken in combinatie met stempelen, laat het dan even weten!

Crealies Christmas wreath........kerstkrans

Today I will show how to create a Christmas wreath using the Creative shapes no. 21 and the  Creative shapes no.17. To create the little flowers I've used just tiny circles, they are also on the shape no.17. I've shaped them with a moulding tool on a rubber mat. There is a great tutorial on the blog of Kitties craft, just take a look.
The base for the wreath is an open circle. First all the layers of branches then some holly leaves and finally the little flowers. Just added some pearl accents in the center of the flowers and a ribbon to finish.
The textstamp says: Warm Wintergreetings. I've used the Text tag no.3.from Crealies. I've used also the Non stop stamp no. 3 to give that spickled effect. The card and all elements have been worked with the Pan Pastels and the lovely stamp of the week: Harlequin Christmas' from Chocolate Baroque.
Can you imagine the possibilities with all the Crealies branches and leaves for all kind of wreaths?
TIP: use a strong and fast drying glue, like Tacky glue or Glossy accents.

Vandaag laat ik jullie zien hoe je een kerstkrans kan maken met de Creative shapes no. 21 en de Creative shapes no.17. Voor de kleine bloemetjes heb ik gewoon kleine cirkeltjes gebruikt( zitten ook op de shapes no.17) en op een rubbermatje met een bol tool bewerkt. Er is een handige tutorial op het blog van Kitties craft, neem eens een kijkje.Als basis voor de krans heb ik een cirkelsnijder gebruikt. Daarop worden eerst alle takje in dezelfde richting geplakt, daarna de hulstblaadjes ertussen en als laatst de bloemetjes. Tot slot een dubbele strik er boven.
Voor de tekst heb ik een Crealies stempeltje gebruikt en Text tag no.3. Deze is ook weer bewerkt met de Non stop stempel no.2.  De kaart en alle gebruikte elementen zijn bewerkt met de Pan Pastels.

Op de achtergrond van de kaart heb ik gestempeld met Versamark en de kerstsheet 'Harlequin Christmas' van Chocolate Baroque gebruikt. In de hoeken zie je de Non stop stempel no.2. Hierna is alles bewerkt met de Pan Pastels. In de hartjes van de kleine bloemetjes heb ik een perle pen gebruikt.

TIP: gebruik een stevige en snel drogende lijm(zoals Tacky glue) voor het aanbrengen van de takjes en blaadjes.

Je kunt je wel voorstellen dat je heel veel soorten kransen kan maken met alle verschillende takjes en blaadjes van Crealies. Laat je fantasie de vrije loop!

Harlequin Christmas is the stamp of the week at Chocolate Baroque! A gorgeous sheet which is one of my favorites!

I have only  found one example I've made with it but I know there are more but can't find the photo's.......

So here it is.......and a little pic of an art board which shows some others made by me. But it's a very small pic so you need your magnifying-glass LOL

Ik heb er een gevonden, maar er moeten er meer zijn, kan ze allen niet vinden.....

ook nog een klein fotootje met wat andere creaties ermee, maar het is erg klein en je het je vergrootglas nodig LOL

O, yes I remember I've made the red tag with it for the tagbook of  all colours for CB, here it is......

Hugging fairy from designs by Ryn.......

Hello there,

Today a creation with the lovely Hugging Fairy from designs by Ryn. Also handdrawn by Ryn......
I've made a Winter scene for this fairy, that fits the temperature these days, so for now she is the Snowfairy! When I saw this stamp I knew that I would add something with snow of flower soft for her robe. The background is created with Distress Inks, glimmermist and a Crafters template 'Winter Wonderland'. I've stamped the fairy with grey ink on Papicolour paper and coloured her with my Derwent Coloursoft. Also added some glitters on the snow and wings for that magical sparkle....
The corner die is a Memorybox one, they are so fine detailed and really cut perfect! Added some gemstones on it and voila!

Vandaag een creatie met de mooie Hugging Fairy from designs by Ryn.  Ook handgetekend door Ryn.......Ik heb een winter tafereel gemaakt bij dit elfje, past wel bij deze temperaturen he.....dus voor nu is ze een sneeuw elfje. Toen ik deze stempel zag wist ik dat ik sneeuw of flower soft op haar mantel wilde doen. 

De achtergrond is gemaakt met Distress inkten, glimmer mist en een Crafters template 'Winter Wonderland'.

Ik heb het elfje met grijze inkt gestempeld op Papicolour papier en gekleurd Derwent Coloursoft. Ook nog wat glimmertjes op de sneeuw en de vleugels voor wat extra sprankeling...

De hoekmal is een Memorybox mal, zo fijn gedetailleerd en ze snijden perfect!

Nog wat glitter steentjes erop en voila!

Steampunk Butterfly, new stamps at Chocolate Baroque

Hello there,

YES, a gorgeous new stampsheet from Chocolate Baroque, a must-have for the Steampunk lover with an elegant 'twist'! The new 'STEAMPUNK BUTTERFLY' Also the stamp of the month on the website of Chocolate Baroque! You can take a look at the Design team blog for more info and a lovely creation with it by Glenda, owner of Chocolate Baroque.

Here are two creations I've made with them........

The background is made with the Artemio clear inks, great colours but they come in small round plastic containers and they are horrible to use, you can't work with them without getting dirty! I've worked with the Crafters template 'rustique paint' and used molding paste and Inka gold. You can see some white Stains in the background, like that 'misty, milky' effect of them. Stamped three circle ornament fragments with black and gave accents with white pencil. The text in the center is from the 'Poppy collage' sheet. The butterflies are embossed with WOW copper and copper sparkle and coloured with Tombo markers.

JA, een prachtig nieuw stempelsheet van Chocolate Baroque, een must-have voor de steampunk liefhebber met net die verfijnde 'twist'! De nieuwe  'STEAMPUNK BUTTERFLY'! Ook de stempel van de maand op de website van Chocolate Baroque. Je kunt ook een kijkje nemen op het Design team blog voor meer info en een mooi voorbeeld hiermee door Glenda, de eigenaresse van Chocolate Baroque.

Hier twee creaties die ik er mee gemaakt heb........

De achtergrond is gemaakt met de Artemio clear inkten, prachtige kleuren maar ze zitten in kleine ronde plastic doosjes waarmee je niet kunt werken zonder hele vieze handen te krijgen. Kortom een waardeloze verpakking!

Ik heb hier gewerkt met de Crafters template 'rustique paint' een van mijn favorieten.Ook wat molding paste en Inka gold gebruikt. Je kunt zien dat er ook wit in de achtergrond zit, dat is de witte stain waardoor je dat aparte melkachtige effect krijgt. Drie cirkel ornament fragmenten met zwart gestempeld en geaccentueerd met wit potlood. De tekst in het midden is van de 'Poppy collage'sheet.

And the 2nd one with the lovely large butterfly........ background with the same inks as the first one.....only two different Crafters templates 'gears'and 'script', also a little add with the molding paste and Inka Gold. The butterfly is embossed with WOW platinum and coloured with Tombo markers. You can also see the steampunk border from the 'Steampunkery'sheet.

En de tweede met de prachtige grote vlinder........achtergrond weer met dezelfde inkten als de eerste.....alleen twee verschillende Crafters templates 'gears'en script', ook wat molding paste en Inka Gold. De vlinder is geembosst met WOW platinum en gekleurd met de Tombo markers. Ook zie je boven aan de steampunk border van de 'Steampunkery'sheet.
