Lovely little books with Chocolate Baroque.......

Hi there,

Today I want to show you two of the three little books we've made at a workshop in my friend's craftshop. The 3rd one you will see soon at the Chocolate Baroque colourchallenge 11 with  artwork made by the Design team. So keep an eye on the challenge blog!

Here is the first one using Distress inks: Evergreen Bough, Salty Ocean and Dusty Concord.

I've used the lovely ' Fountain scene' cling stamp and lots of the fragments from ' Texture Fragments'.

I really love all the Chocolate Fragment stamp sheets, they are so versatile! I have also used again one of my favorite big bloom sheets, Fresh Blooms. They are stamped with Memento and coloured with the Chameleon markers.

Vandaag wil ik jullie twee van de drie boekjes laten zien die we gemaakt hebben tijdens een workshop bij 't Hobbyschuurke in Ridderkerk. De 3e zal ik laten zien bij de 11e kleurenchallenge van Chocolate Baroque.

Hier is de eerste waarbij ik deze Distress kleuren heb gebruikt: Evergreen Bough, Salty Ocean en Dusty Concord. Ik heb de mooie ' Fountain scene' cling stempel gebruikt en veel van de structuur stempels van  Texture Fragments'. Ik vind alle fragment stempels van Chocolate Baroque prachtig, ze zijn zo veelzijdig! Ook weer een van m'n favoriete bloemen gebruikt van Fresh Blooms. Ze zijn gestempeld met Memento en gekleurd met Chameleon markers.

I have used several Wow embossing powders: Shrinking Violet , Calypso and Diamond White. All sparkling powders which have a gorgeous shine and sparkle! Yes, I am a real WOW fan!

Ik heb diverse Wow poeders gebruikt: Shrinking Violet, Calypso en Diamond White. Allemaal glitter poeders met een prachtige glans en sparkle! Ja, ik ben een echte WOW fan!

And the next one....one with Vintage colors but it was very much work for the participants so I decide to skip that one for the next group.

Here I've used the Distress colors: Tattered Rose/Milled Lavender/Frayed Burlap/Aged Mahogany and Walnut Stain

Here you can see the ' Song thrush' cling stamp from Chocolate Baroque. Decoupaged Flowers are coloured with the Chameleon markers and the image is coloured with Distress inks.

En de volgende.......een met Vintage kleuren....erg veel werk dus deze heb ik laten vallen voor de laatste groep.

Hier hebben we de ' Song thrush' cling stempel van CB gebruikt. De uitgeknipte bloemen zijn gekleurd met de Chameleon markers en de afbeelding met Distress inkten.

workshop Art Specially event 2015.........lovely notebooks

Hi there,

Today I want to showcase the two little books I've made for the workshop at the Art Specially event 2015.

I've made two color combinations and used the lovely clear stamp set from Impression Obsession, called 'Maya'.

Also used several Cover a Cards:

Damask

Crumpled Lace

Scratches

French text

On the side of the book I've used a patterned Magenta stamp and accentuated that with a silver pen.

All the sentiments are on that sheet too!

Vandaag laat ik jullie de twee boekje zien die ik gemaakt heb voor de workshop op het Art Specially event 2015 in Nijkerk. Het was weer een waar feest en kijk alweer uit naar volgend jaar!

Ik heb twee kleuren combi's gemaakt en de mooie clear stamp set 'Maya' van Impression Obsession gebruikt. Hierop staat de roos en diverse mooie teksten van Maya Angelou.

Ook weer diverse cover a cards gebruikt:

Op de zijkant van het boek is een patroon stempel van Magenta gebruikt

Alles is te koop bij de Posthumuswinkel in Amsterdam, helaas staat niet alles op de website dus een mailtje of belletje is het handigst. 

And the inside.....we did not do that at the workshop because time was limited.........

En de binnenkant....we hebben dat niet gedaan op de workshop omdat de tijd beperkt was.......

helaas konden we ook niet iedereen blij maken met een workshop omdat er maar 40 plaatsen waren over de twee dagen. Misschien kunnen we dat volgend jaar anders doen........ideeën?

Another Peacock lady for the Colourstock blog

Today it's my turn to show you a creation which I've made for the Colourstock blog using their products. This time I have finished the 2nd background made with the cover a card from Impression Obsession called Peacock feathers. If you want to see the other background and creation, just take a look here.

I have been working with Copic markers on the main image of the girl(Sweet Pea stamp) and the background is made with Pan Pastels. I have a lot of these Sweet Pea face stamps because I love to color and draw faces.

I have taken several photo's during the coloring process.......so let's get started.....

I've stamped her with Memento London Fog and first coloured the face(look for the exact colors on the Colourstock blog)

Vandaag is het mijn beurt om jullie te laten zien wat ik voor het Colourstock blog maakte met hun producten. Ik heb de 2e achtergrond afgemaakt die ik met de cover a card van Impression Obsession maakte, Peacock feathers. Voor degenen die het eerste blogbericht niet hebben gezien, dit is de achtergrond in stappen.

1e laag- Pan Pastels aangebracht met de big oval sponge

Bij de eerste laag had ik alleen de E kleuren en de R20 gebruikt, ik miste diepte en schaduw.....

Bij de 2e laag de C kleuren aangebracht op de schaduw plekken, zie je het verschil?

Nog een laag met de C serie.......

And than I noticed an outside the lines color mistake at the side of her face....

what to do when you have a ' bleeding' problem?

I've used the colorless blender to ' push' the color back.......

And that helped.......so here is my finished  'Peacock lady'.......o yes I almost forgot.....I wanted to add some matching die cut flowers to it and found the old Crealies Creative flower no.3 which I coloured using the same Copic colors. Isn't that lovely?

En dat hielp......dus hier is de uiteindelijke versie van mijn ' Peacock lady' o ja bijna vergeten...ik wilde nog wat bloemen toevoegen die bij de afbeelding pasten en vond de oude Crealies Creative flower no.3 die er perfect bij paste. Ik heb ze gekleurd met dezelfde kleuren Copics. Is het niet mooi geworden zo?

And than I had some flowers left to play with....and I 'tangled' them, it's such fun to do! I've used a green Copic multiliner no.1 and used the same Copic markers. Next time I will create a background for them!

En toen had ik nog een aantal bloemen over........en had ik eindelijk eens wat tijd om lekker te 'tangelen', het is zo heerlijk om te doen! Ik heb de groene Copic multiliner 01 gebruikt. Volgende keer geef ik ze een achtergrond........

By the Sea........

Today some creations inspired by the wonderful sea! All stamps from Impression Obsession and a few for the center image from Magenta. Those wild herbs are lovely and very detailed.

We have made an A5 sized notebook at the Posthumus shop in Amsterdam. There were two colourcombi's which they could make.

First a ' sandy' version with shades of brown and grey.......many layers, many stamps and resist embossing. We also made an embellishment with a technique tile and triple embossing with Wow pearl embossing powder.

Vandaag wat creaties geïnspireerd door de geweldige zee! Allemaal stempels van Impression Obsession en op de middelste afbeelding Magenta stempels. Deze mooie takken zijn zo gedetailleerd .

We hebben A5 note boekjes bekleed tijdens de workshop bij de Posthumuswinkel in Amsterdam. Er waren twee kleuren combinaties om uit te kiezen.

Eerst een ' zanderige' versie met bruin en grijstinten.......veel lagen met veel soorten stempels en resist embossing. We hebben ook een mooi embellishment gemaakt met een techniek tile en deze drie keer geembosst met pearl poeders van Wow.

Alle stempels zijn te koop bij de Posthumus winkel in Amsterdam! Op de website zijn ze meestal niet allemaal te vinden, gewoon even een emailtje met de gewenste stempels of nog leuker......even een bezoek aan die mooie winkel!

A lot of masking and direct coloring onto the rubber stamp with water based markers and misting with water

Veel maskeren hierbij en direct gekleurd met Tombo stiften op het rubber en wat nat gesprayd.

Vintage Floral Mannequins from Chocolate Baroque

It has been a bit quiet over here because I was having holidays, workshops and no PC time........but I am back again here....

Today it's my turn to show you what I've created with the new beautiful stamp sheets from Chocolate Baroque.

I have been working with Floral Mannequin and the Sewing room. There is also another one in this serie called Dressmaking collage. Difficult to  choose, isn't it? You can also save some money and go for the multi-buy.

The background is done with Distress inks, Victorian Velvet,Walnut stain and Vintage photo. I have embossed the torso's with Wow primary Burgundy and Wow Fool's gold. Also coloured them with water based markers in matching colors.

I've added some lovely rose embellishments from ScrapBerry's.

Vandaag is het mijn beurt om te laten zien wat ik heb gemaakt met de nieuwe mooie stempel sheets van Chocolate Baroque. Ze hebben alles te maken met fournituren en kleding.
