By the Sea........

Hi there,

Today some creations inspired by the wonderful sea! All stamps from Impression Obsession and a few for the center image from Magenta. Those wild herbs are lovely and very detailed.

We have made an A5 sized notebook at the Posthumus shop in Amsterdam. There were two colourcombi's which they could make.

First a ' sandy' version with shades of brown and grey.......many layers, many stamps and resist embossing. We also made an embellishment with a technique tile and triple embossing with Wow pearl embossing powder.

Vandaag wat creaties geïnspireerd door de geweldige zee! Allemaal stempels van Impression Obsession en op de middelste afbeelding Magenta stempels. Deze mooie takken zijn zo gedetailleerd .

We hebben A5 note boekjes bekleed tijdens de workshop bij de Posthumuswinkel in Amsterdam. Er waren twee kleuren combinaties om uit te kiezen.

Eerst een ' zanderige' versie met bruin en grijstinten.......veel lagen met veel soorten stempels en resist embossing. We hebben ook een mooi embellishment gemaakt met een techniek tile en deze drie keer geembosst met pearl poeders van Wow.

Alle stempels zijn te koop bij de Posthumus winkel in Amsterdam! Op de website zijn ze meestal niet allemaal te vinden, gewoon even een emailtje met de gewenste stempels of nog leuker......even een bezoek aan die mooie winkel!

A lot of masking and direct coloring onto the rubber stamp with water based markers and misting with water

Veel maskeren hierbij en direct gekleurd met Tombo stiften op het rubber en wat nat gesprayd.

Vintage Floral Mannequins from Chocolate Baroque

It has been a bit quiet over here because I was having holidays, workshops and no PC time........but I am back again here....

Today it's my turn to show you what I've created with the new beautiful stamp sheets from Chocolate Baroque.

I have been working with Floral Mannequin and the Sewing room. There is also another one in this serie called Dressmaking collage. Difficult to  choose, isn't it? You can also save some money and go for the multi-buy.

The background is done with Distress inks, Victorian Velvet,Walnut stain and Vintage photo. I have embossed the torso's with Wow primary Burgundy and Wow Fool's gold. Also coloured them with water based markers in matching colors.

I've added some lovely rose embellishments from ScrapBerry's.

Vandaag is het mijn beurt om te laten zien wat ik heb gemaakt met de nieuwe mooie stempel sheets van Chocolate Baroque. Ze hebben alles te maken met fournituren en kleding.

Ophelia from Chocolate Baroque

Hi there,

Today as promised the other lovely lady from Chocolate Baroque. She is called ' Ophelia' and I like the dreaminess of her.  I have coloured her with the Chameleon markers and also used my favorite flowers from CB, Fresh Blooms. The text is a Dutch one from Crealies and it says ' Flower greetings'.

Vandaag zoals beloofd de andere mooi dame van Chocolate Baroque. Ze heet 'Ophelia' en ik vind haar dromerigheid zo mooi. Ik heb haar gekleurd met de Chameleon markers en heb ook mijn favoriete bloemen van CB, Fresh Blooms weer eens gebruikt. De tekst is van Crealies.

 Deze stempels zijn verkrijgbaar bij 't Hobbyschuurke'.

Can you imagine the fun I had coloring this? Colouring with the Chameleon markers is fun but you have to be patient.......

Kun je je voorstellen dat ik het heerlijk vond om dit allemaal te kleuren? Kleuren met de Chameleon markers is leuk maar je moet wel geduldig zijn en het kleuren assortiment is natuurlijk niet zo groot als de Copic markers. Hier zit dan ook een prijs/kwaliteit verschil in.

Colourful ladies from Chocolate Baroque

Here I am after a very busy time preparing for the Art Specially event. It was a real party meeting a lot of lovely people which share the same passion..........creating art with all kind of crafting materials.

My birthday was also on Sunday so I had a real party this year!

Today I have two creations with the same stamp' Lady with hat' from Chocolate Baroque.

The first one has been made on canvas paper with water based inks and markers. And I've used the great matching border 'Floral edges'.

The 2nd one is done using Chameleon markers(alcohol based) on DCP paper. These markers are fun to use and great for the starting crafter who wants to try alcohol based markers. You can see some video tutorials on their website.

Hier ben ik weer na een zeer drukke tijd voorbereiden voor het Art Specially event. Het was weer een feestje en heerlijk om zoveel mensen te ontmoeten die dezelfde passie delen.........kunst maken met alle leuke materialen die er zijn.

Mijn verjaardag viel ook op de zondag, dus ik had een zeer speciaal feestje met heel veel bezoek!

Vandaag twee creaties met dezelfde stempel' Lady with hat' from Chocolate Baroque' .

De eerste is gemaakt op canvas papier met inkten en markers op waterbasis. En ook heb ik de mooie bijpassende border  'Floral edges' gebruikt.

De tweede is gemaakt met de Chameleon markers(alcoholbasis) op DCP papier. Deze markers zijn leuk en prima voor de beginnende ' kleurder' die alcohol markers wil gaan proberen en niet al te duur. wil beginnen.

Je kunt hier diverse filmpjes zien die op hun website staan. Ze zijn hier te koop.

The die cut flowers are also coloured with these markers and are from Crealies. I've used ' set of 3' nr.2 and the center of the flower is made using ' Double fun nr. 12'. These markers are great for coloring the die cut flowers because of their special blending abilities.

De gestanste bloemen zijn ook gekleurd met deze markers en zijn van Crealies. Ik heb de set of 3' nr. 2 gebruikt en voor de hartjes ' Double fun nr. 12'. Deze markers zijn super voor het kleuren van de bloemen vanwege hun speciale blending kwaliteiten en mogelijkheden.

There is also another beautiful lady available and soon I will show you some creations made with that stamp.

Er is ook nog een andere mooi dame verkrijgbaar en binnenkort heb ik wat creaties met haar te laten zien. Je kunt deze stempels hier kopen.

Pan Pastel pearls joining Spring........

Today another Spring time card made with Distress inks and layer of Pan Pastels.

I showed you the other workshop version some blogposts ago and this one is the more extended version with more die cut flowers. The same technique as the other card.......

Vandaag weer een echte Lente kaart gemaakt met Distress inkten en de parelmoer Pan Pastels. Ik had de workshop versie al laten zien een paar blogposten hiervoor en deze is wat uitgebreider met meer bloemen. Dezelfde techniek als de andere kaart

A background made blending Distress inks and than some water spattering. Stamped  some layers using Versamark and the pearl Pan Pastels. And the last layer was stamped using Memento inks. This is a stamp sheet from Joy crafts.( Spring Blossom) The die cut flowers are from Crafters companion. Each set (an open and closed flower) has 31 dies!

Een achtergrond gemaakt met het blenden van Distress inkten, hierna wat water gespetterd. Wat lagen gestempeld met Versamark en parelmoer Pan Pastels. De laatste laag met Memento inkten. Dit is een stempelset van Joy (Spring Blossom) De bloemen stans is van Crafters Companion. Elke set( een open en dichte) heeft 31 mallen!

Beautiful Hibiscus.........in the dark and in the light......

Today I have two creations for you made by the new beautiful designs from designs by Ryn. 

This is the Hibiscus set and I also used the matching stencil. How cool is that, a matching stencil to work with the stamps!

I had these inky backgrounds waiting for a play and the dark one is made with unusual colors for me. But I like the dramatic effect and I also used the Flower Lace 1 stamp on the background and the Trickling water 2 and Trickling water set.

Hallo allemaal,

Vandaag twee creaties voor jullie gemaakt met de nieuwe stempels van designs by Ryn. Dit is de Hibiscus set  en ik heb ook het matching stencil gebruikt. Hoe gaaf is dat, een bijpassend stencil bij je stempel!

Deze inkt achtergronden lagen al een tijdje te wachten op een speel moment en de donkere heeft voor mij zeker ongewone kleuren. Maar ik vind het dramatische effect ervan wel mooi. Ik heb hierbij ook de the Flower Lace 1 stempel gebruikt en op de achtergrond ook de Trickling water 2 en Trickling water set.

And this is the 2nd one which almost disappeared in the bin....yes I have that too........did not like it in the first stage but the people I was with at that time of creating told me not to do that.......so I kept on going......and this is the result(still not quit satisfied but OK sometimes you have to accept that) Here I've added also the beautiful Waterdroplets. All the droplet designs from Ryn are the most beautiful there are!

En de tweede die bijna in de prullenbak verdween......ja , ik heb dat ook.....vond m niet mooi in de eerste fase maar de mensen met wie ik was op dat moment zeiden dat niet te doen......dus ging ik door....en dit is het resultaat( nog steeds niet helemaal tevreden maar soms moet je dat gewoon accepteren) Hier heb ik de mooie Waterdroplets gebruikt. Al de waterdruppels ontwerpen van Ryn zijn de mooiste die er zijn!

I have used color pencils and on the background I have used the Hibiscus stencil with Perfect Pearls. First dabbed some Versamark and than applied the perfect pearls. It creates a lovely shine in a certain angle of light........

Ik heb kleurpotloden gebruikt voor beide kaarten en bij het stencil heb ik de Perfect pearls weer eens tevoorschijn gehaald. Eerst Versamark in het stencil gesponst en dan bewerkt met de Perfect pearls. Het geeft z' on mooie weerschijn bij een bepaalde lichtval.......

Lovely Orchid and Pan Pastels..........

Today two workshop cards made with Pan Pastels, Belleek technique, inks and coloring with Pastel pencils.

One is made with Vintage colors the other one with light and soft colors. I have been working with the latest Orchid die from Marianne design, the oval frame is from Joy and the embossing folder is from the Vintage series of Crafters Companion. It's a pity that these embossing folders are discontinued. I've used a glimmer fixative spray for the flowers and image.

Vandaag twee workshopkaarten die gemaakt zijn bij 't Hobbyschuurke in Ridderkerk. Pan Pastels, Belleek techniek(embossingfolder), inkt en kleuren met Pastel potloden.
De eerste kaart heeft een vintage uitstraling en de andere heeft lichte en zachte kleuren. Ik heb gewerkt met de orchidee mal van Marianne design. Ik vind m prachtig! Het ovaal frame is van Joy en de emboss.folder is van Crafters Companion. Helaas is deze serie eruit en niet meer verkrijgbaar!
Kom fabrikanten....maak weer eens wat grotere vierkante embossingfolders!
De bloemen en het ovaal zijn gefixeerd met een glitter spray.
Alle materialen zijn hier dan ook te koop!

Great news.........New designs of Ryn!!

Hi there,

Not so much around these days but for a good reason.........I had a nose surgery and it's not a very pleasant one( it's only the 6th in row)....but which surgery is? But today they removed all the bandages(and it's a lot that they can push into your head!) so from now on it will go better........For two weeks I have to take it easy and than I maybe am able to smell the fresh grass and Spring again!

But the great news I wanted to share is this; Ryn has been working on new designs and I can say they are so beautiful! New designs in rubber as well in stencils! That's a great  way to design!

Maybe you've seen them already because I am a bit behind but I wanted to share them anyway.

Still proud and happy to be on her team! Thank you for that Ryn! Sometimes I wish I could create more but sometimes life got in the way........

During the time I am on the team I have made several creations and here a collage

here they are..........and I must say looking at them all.....it was a real joy to create and play with those lovely designs! And a person who designs such beautiful things can only be a lovely person too, don't you think?

Niet zo veel in blogland geweest maar voor een goede reden.........ik ben geopereerd aan mijn neus en het het is niet echt een pretje(pas voor de 6e keer) ....maar ja dat is geen enkele operatie he?

Vandaag is het verband en tampons verwijderd( en ze kunnen heel wat kwijt in je hoofd) dus van nu af aan weer opknappen. Twee weekjes rustig aan en dan kan ik eindelijk weer eens wat ruiken.

Maar het andere nieuws wat ik met jullie wilde delen is; Ryn heeft weer prachtige nieuwe ontwerpen gemaakt en ze zijn zo mooi! Nieuwe ontwerpen zowel in rubber als in stencils. Dat is nog eens fijn ontwerpen. Misschien heb je ze al gezien want ik loop een beetje achter maar wilde het toch even delen en een beetje feestelijk maken......

Nog steed trots en blij dat ik in haar team zit! Bedankt daarvoor Ryn! Vaak zou ik willen dat ik meer voor haar kon maken maar ja....tijd......en het leven zit soms in de weg......

Gedurende de tijd dat ik in het team zit heb ik al aardig wat gemaakt en hiervan heb ik wat collages gemaakt........

hier zijn ze......en ik moet zeggen, als ik ze zo bij elkaar zie....het was een echt plezier om ze te maken en ermee te spelen! Iemand die zulke mooie dingen ontwerpt moet ook wel een ' mooi' iemand  zijn en daar ben ik van overtuigd door de tijd dat ik contact heb met Ryn.
